You have been poisoned

Whether it be a delicious looking fruit or maybe even some meat, you have been poisoned by it, thanks to the efforts of someone. Perhaps you will suffer from a stomach illness, or maybe you'll turn green. Some may even fall asleep.

It will take a few days for anyone's condition to worsen - and a few more days to become even worse. If you don't get an antidote on time, you will first become paralyzed, then later fall into a coma and then death. Of course, if you were asleep, you will skip becoming paralyzed.

Optionally, some may feel the initial effects up to paralysis a little faster, but progression towards coma and death will remain the same.

Time to prepare a cure

The cause of poison is very obviously the festival food. It's not too difficult to figure out what went into the poisons. Still, it might take some cooperation with others to create the antidote.

It might take a while to get all the food away from the market, however, so volunteers to find all the food that needs to be tossed out are always appreciated.

Investigation

To find the person who did this, some investigation needs to be done. Adachi tried to leave no trace of himself, but even he's not perfect.

One of the key evidence is that several witnesses have seen a mysterious old man at the market, giving out fresh groceries to be sold. Sometimes even just "forgot" his food somewhere for people to get.

Storm the castle

It's time to face against the Evil Queen in her castle. Even if as soon as he hears the commotion he's already gone into hiding deep into his castle's secret area - which is where one would find the proof he's the one behind the poison anyway.

That jail life

Adachi has been caught and brought into prison where he will be for quite a while. He is allowed visitors, if anyone really wants to do that but necessary precautions are, of course, made.
