Awkward silence. Bird squawk. Okay then going on. He picks up the eagle as it settles on his shoulder, then brings Minato into one of the large room of, well, what looks like a fancy Greek manor. Fitting, for the king of the gods.
The kitchen is much more cozy compared to the other rooms. Wooden tables are aligned on both sides, filled with bowls and ceramics. He kneels to open a door on the ground, as vapour rises up from the cold ice, bringing out a ceramic container that contains the broth.
"Do you want something more than just the broth? Hot or cold?"

He followed Yu into the kitchen. It was really nice despite how dated it was.
"Hot. Do you have any bread?"
no subject
"I've been practising," he explains. "There were wild grains around the house so I made really course flour. It's not the best bread but..."
He opens the stove and a cooled pieces of bread sit inside. The shape is...well not the best but it was bread. And a day's fresh.
"Its not melonpan but I had a piece yesterday, it's not bad. Do you want some fresh spring water?"
no subject
This was honestly kind of surreal, but he supposed it made sense given where they were.

"Well, it's a nearby river, but the water appears to be fresh and drinkable."
Being drinkable was always a plus.
"I keep a few bottles in here as well."
