He pondered on his possibilities; he could try to remove some of his clothing and then put him in the hot springs in the hope that he'd sweat out some of whatever was causing this, but that could be risky and could potentially make the situation worse. He adjusted the washcloth, looking over the notes in his journal, noticing Minato's post from a few days earlier. Oh this could be related to that as well.
"Poisoned fruit and vegetables."
He stroked his chin in thought. What stories involved poisoned produce? The one that pops to mind first is the Stepmother turned Wicked Witch and Snow White. Wasn't there an anime about that too?
He places a cover over him to keep him warm for now.
"Can you hear me?"
He's going to test things out first because there's an inkling of an idea in the back of his mind.

Ahhhhhhh....
"Snow White...magic mirror...something about a comb? Then turning into a old lady to offer an apple...seven dwarfs...she had a prince, or maybe that was in the anime?" He groans at his thoughts. "Maybe I'm thinking it wrong and this is Sleeping Beauty...that had a poisoned object too..."
Basic once upon a time, knowledge really. Which leads to an obvious conclusion.
"A kiss?"
It can't be that easy, can it? Well it's worth a try.
no subject
Yes, sorry, I thought kissing you might stop this poison, hahaha it's like fairy tales hahaha...
no subject
Why is he so flustered?
"Okay."
He has to push himself on, to move his face towards Minato, and then to plant a relatively chaste kiss on the other's lips, lingering for a while before he moves back and hope he didn't just do this for nothing. Not because he had to kiss him, it felt...kinda nice, but he'd feel horrible if he kissed someone that was sick for no real reason except going with a gut feeling.
The snow stops and fog begins to form around him, making his figure harder to see, but leaving the elbows and his head completely visible.

Did he dream about getting kissed? Wait, why would he do that? He groaned softly, pulling his eyes open. Wasn't he supposed to be in the park right now, anyway? Maybe someone pranked him or... oh, did he fall asleep again? He hadn't been feeling good, he had gone to a restaurant for lunch. Maybe he ate something he shouldn't have again. But then who...?
"...Mmmph?" He reluctantly pushed himself up. It was so foggy and- "!!!"
Yu was right in front of him. He jumped and scooted back, only to fall right off the sofa. "...ow."

The fog quickly disappeared, replaced by clouds instead as Yu quickly walks over to where his friend had fallen extending his hand.
"Sorry, you were out cold."

When you don't have notifications, sometimes you forget to check it. Yu was smiling but briefly as their hands touched, but a cold gust of air passed, displaying his distress of not keeping on top of things.
"You're welcome," he adds, briefly looking away himself to stroke the back of his neck. "I figured it out based on a fairy tale."
Was it Sleeping Beauty or Snow White? He still wasn't sure.
no subject
βWhatβs important is that you did, doesnβt really matter when.β
no subject
Briefly he tried to swat the clouds away with a movement of his hands, failing.
"But if you're saying this happened before, then you're not cured. We should figure that out."
It's good that Minato was conscious now, but now Yu was worried if he'd just fall down sleeping again. He put a hand on the other's forehead to check his temperature.
"How are you feeling right now?"
no subject
This was confusing, and also concerning. Would he have to deal with relapses until some kind of cure was found?
no subject
Maybe someone else might have found him in the bench, or maybe no one would have, and Yu doesn't want to think about that too hard.
"I'll make you something light for the stomach. I have an abundance of bones because of my eagle. Bone broth would be light enough to make you feel better, I think. Maybe a tip in the hot springs will help you too, once you feel better."
no subject
Except he was leaning into Yu's hand because it felt nice. Didn't bone broth take awhile to prepare though? This felt an awful lot like when he got sick during the tsunami. Hadn't he been out for two whole days then?
no subject
Well true, he couldn't stop him, but Yu was doing his best to put him under a gentle house arrest. And don't worry Minato, Yu was just giving him the reason why he had a lot of bone broth prepared. Gotta make some stock for home, after all.
Oh um. Hmm. Was that the fox in Minato causing him to do that? Without thinking, you goes to pet his ears.
no subject
He was tired and not really in the mood to try and lean away.
no subject
"Sorry. I used to pet a lot of the cats in Inaba. It helps me calm down."
He didn't move just yet either.
"Do you want to lie down again?"
no subject
Minato yawned then, covering his mouth and then gave a stretching.
"Maybe just some soup for now. You can tell me all about why petting cats helps you calm down."
no subject
Awkward silence. Bird squawk. Okay then going on. He picks up the eagle as it settles on his shoulder, then brings Minato into one of the large room of, well, what looks like a fancy Greek manor. Fitting, for the king of the gods.
The kitchen is much more cozy compared to the other rooms. Wooden tables are aligned on both sides, filled with bowls and ceramics. He kneels to open a door on the ground, as vapour rises up from the cold ice, bringing out a ceramic container that contains the broth.
"Do you want something more than just the broth? Hot or cold?"
no subject
He followed Yu into the kitchen. It was really nice despite how dated it was.
"Hot. Do you have any bread?"
no subject
"I've been practising," he explains. "There were wild grains around the house so I made really course flour. It's not the best bread but..."
He opens the stove and a cooled pieces of bread sit inside. The shape is...well not the best but it was bread. And a day's fresh.
"Its not melonpan but I had a piece yesterday, it's not bad. Do you want some fresh spring water?"
no subject
This was honestly kind of surreal, but he supposed it made sense given where they were.
no subject
"Well, it's a nearby river, but the water appears to be fresh and drinkable."
Being drinkable was always a plus.
"I keep a few bottles in here as well."
