Chapter 04: Act II
A MIDSUMMER ROSE: ACT II—
§ instructions.
The second Act is underway! This is the designated log for all Main Scenes. Others are free to create their own toplevels for the Sub Quests, which are detailed below. Each Main Scene has their own unique toplevel and those cast into the roles are to thread their scene under each. All scene instructions are provided in the toplevels.
As a reminder, there are two different fairy forms that characters outside the main scenes can take when in the setting of the story. While in Tam Lin's forest, they will take on their fairy form (can be the same as last Act or different). While in the cursed village, they will take on some kind of "hoofed" creature or fairy with a slant towards the equine.
Finally, just to be clear, characters who are in Main Scenes are not immediately dropped into their location and will have to step into a designated fairy ring made of iridescent mushrooms and flowers and then return. Threading all of that isn't necessary, but it's to help give a better idea that characters can take a break between scenes or wait a bit to help with other things like the Sub Quests.
Feel free to refer to the Game Notes for more detailed info as well as ask questions or clarifications.
§ sub quests.
Everyone is free to participate in the Sub Quests. There are no specific top levels, so you're free to incorporate them however you wish in your own top level.
¶ I. Lifting the curse. Everyone in the village has been turned into donkeys, and those who enter the village will also find themselves "cursed" with a hooved form, causing a bit of havoc within the village. The temperaments between each one vary from morose to hostile, and both can be difficult to handle. Some donkeys even stray from the village and need to be herded back, or else they are attacked and killed by the Erasers that lay beyond. To lift their own curse, the Aspects must protect and lift the curse off the villagers. There are a few ways to do this:
Reminder: Aspects who enter the village will take on a new "hooved creature" form and must help lift the curse of at least one villager before they can leave the village and get rid of the "curse."
¶ II. Protect the forest and its creatures. With the Fairy Queen caught up in a complicated love affair and Tam Lin distracted by his own romance, the protection around the forests have gone thin, and many fairy creatures are left unattended and vulnerable.
Note: Aspects will have their fairy forms while in the forests.
¶ III. Clear the Castle Path. The pathway to the castle is covered in thorny vines and unpleasant fae folk under Carabosse's command. Some are just ordinary plants, while others will come to life and attack anything that tries to pass them. These plants also seem more resilient to flames this time, some even spitting fire and acid. The faes will create illusions and puzzles for our heroes to solve, such as turning parts of the road into blocks and forcing them to try and piece them back together (like Tetris). Other faes prefer being combative, trolls and orcs battle ready to stop anyone.
¶ IV. Bucking Bicycles. Scattered throughout the forest, at first they seem like regular bicycles with toy horse heads attached to them, but anyone who tries to ride them will suddenly find themselves bucked and tossed onto the ground. In order to ride one of these mighty metal steeds, one must first earn its trust. Perhaps a little elbow grease might persuade them, or a nice metal carrot.
¶ V. Wildcard. Make up your own prompt!
With the tasks completed, the story progresses onward to the next Act. As everyone falls asleep, their dreams replay the events of the story thus far.
When everyone awakens, they find themselves in the forest cultivated by Puck and Tam Lin and once again in their strange fairy forms. It is flourishing, more color, sound, and even music filling the air as sunlight streams through the open branches. However, within the shadows lurk dangers that manage to slip in and the forest still needs care and protection as it will be their main stronghold.
Like before, the magical fairy rings made of flowers and glowing mushrooms will send those who are to act their scenes to their proper location. However, there are other paths illuminated by glowing mushrooms and flowers, each one leading to various places both within and outside the large forest.
One path in particular will lead them to the cursed village where they are to help cure those afflicted by the curse as well as fend off the Erasers and other dangers that threaten the village. However they should be careful as they will have a "curse" of their own upon entering.
The two queens fought fiercely with sharp words and powerful magic, but in the end Titania surrendered and muttered “just curse the brat.” Carabosse did indeed curse Tam Lin to prick his finger on a spindle and fall into a deep slumber, as well as give the child an invitation to join her dark forces should he ever decide to forsake his family.
While Oberon was hesitant to trust his son with Puck, the rebellious fairy argued that being rough around the edges meant he could better handle a crisis. So the king set Puck the test of retrieving a flower from a dangerous locale and returning with the flower intact, lending the sprite a priceless dagger for protection and a further test of trust.
Puck trusted little Tam Lin to hold the magical flower while the sprite carried the babe, eventually stumbling upon a convenient baby carriage. The two then enjoyed the beauty of the wild forest on their trek.
While still in pain from parting with their son and previous hurts in their relationship, Oberon and Titania reaffirmed their love and trust in each other as they set out to destroy the spindles.
Puck raised Tam Lin more as a younger brother than a son and they formed a strong bond. While Tam Lin took after Puck in being easygoing and playful, they still had a love and protectiveness for the forest they called home. The two would often use Puck's ability to shapeshift and communicate with animals and Tam Lin magically gifted skill with music to soothe and heal injured animals they came across and to protect the forest from any outside threats.
Carabosse did her best to intimidate Nick Bottom into telling her Tam Lin’s location, but the playwright parried her at every turn and even accused her of being a yaoi fangirl. Eventually the evil fairy’s temper reached its zenith, prompting the soon-to-be donkey to challenge her to a children’s card game. Bottom won through the use of sleight-of-hand, but Carabosse caught the cheater, and for his insolence turned him and all the town into donkeys.

It is flourishing, more color, sound, and even music filling the air as sunlight streams through the open branches. § sub quests.
Everyone is free to participate in the Sub Quests. There are no specific top levels, so you're free to incorporate them however you wish in your own top level.

- The cursed villagers no longer remember who they are, but a reminder of who they used to be could help. Although they cannot speak, clues range from the bits of clothing left on their bodies, their behavior, and the locations they tend to stray to.
- The more hostile and aggressive ones may need to be subdued; knocking them unconscious may expel the curse from them.
- Finally, there are some glowing white candied roses scattered about the village. Should the cursed villagers eat some, they will be cured.
Reminder: Aspects who enter the village will take on a new "hooved creature" form and must help lift the curse of at least one villager before they can leave the village and get rid of the "curse."

- The Forests. Tam Lin's forest has a barrier that must be strengthened every so often by using the pollen of the purple flower and casting it over the barrier. The weakest points will be where the shadows and darkness are greatest, and hostile creatures and Erasers are lurking. For the forests outside, follow the glowing mushroom path to different "outposts" to replenish the magic barrier in the area. Not only can they use the flower, but they must increase the amount of light to disperse the darkness.
- Fairy creatures. A cute, little fairy creature may help guide them and even become attached. If not leading them to one of the weakened locations, the creature will lead the Aspects to a special nursery where many of the wounded need to be fed and healed.
Note: Aspects will have their fairy forms while in the forests.

SCENE 1: BONNY ROSE AND PUCK - FELIX AND LEA
To undo the curse, they must fend off crazed donkeys while not killing them and gather special flowers scattered around the village and create a special potion (directions are given but can be made up or handwaved by the players). This potion must be used against a giant black horse. This horse is also under the effects of the curse, and the potion will help dispel most of it. But it cannot be completely cured until Bonny gets on it back and can tame it with her lovely voice without falling. Puck can assist in trying to keep it contained or distracted. If successful, the horse will be cured and become her steed, and the rest of the curse will be lifted from the village.
no subject
Still, he rides along with only minimal grumbling to the horse beneath him. He even congratulates himself on staying on its back all the way to the village. (Because yeah, horses? Not exactly a thing in the life of a typical space marine.) When the animal finally lumbers to a halt, Felix slithers off its back, shakes out his dress, and looks around the village. ]
Oh, great. More horses.
[ Horses, donkeys, same difference. ]
Guess it's up to me to fix this shit.

SCENE 2: BONNY ROSE AND NICK BOTTOM - GOBO FRAGGLE AND KEITH
The only main objective is for Bonny and Nick to work together to fight off various hostile fairy creatures and Erasers while trying not to get lost while following the winding paths towards the forests. They reach the designated junction where the butterflies and wisps await them, but unfortunately, the two sets of creatures are trapped inside spheres of glass and amber held tight with vines. The two must sing a song about the friendship they've forged until the spheres break and the butterflies and wisps lead them out of the scene.

He had the drive to go find anyone who could come off as a "Bonny Rose". She had saved the town from the horse curse, and he felt like he needed to thank her.
He vaguely recognized...]
Gobo?
[They'd had a dream or something together. Except... Keith had been in Fraggle form. Would Gobo realize it was him?]

SCENE 3: QUEEN TITANIA AND NICK BOTTOM - KAZUMA ASOUGI AND SETO KAIBA
Whoever is playing Titania will legitimately be under the effects of the love potion and will thus fervently try to win Nick's fair heart. This will last for as long as the scene plays out OR the person playing Nick knocks them out and runs away; whether Nick actually accepts Titania's advances is up to the character.

And appears alone in the forest, wearing one of the ugliest suits he's ever seen. Yellow is not his color. He starts wrestling his way through the branches, muttering under his breath about the things he'll do when he gets back. He's a little roughed up by the thick undergrowth, but it's fine. He's fine.
Now what should one do when lost in a forest? He needs to find his partner to start the scene, so the logical thing to do would be to find a source of water and follow it. Eventually, he hears the sound of a flowing creek---perfect. He heads that way and drops onto a nearby boulder to take a breath.
But then there's a rustling in the branches a little further away. He lifts his racket, pointing it rather uselessly at the noise. ]

So he's just going to waltzed right up on to the designated spot and grinned before shouting at the top of his lungs.]
HEY, MISS CRAB BOSS! You still haven't given up on my son? Don't you think it's creepy to try and be a cradle robber? I thought you were better than that!

SCENE 5: KING OBERON AND QUEEN TITANIA - SOUJI SETA AND ELMA
The one playing Titania will have the same love potion effects as in Scene 3 and thus will be legitimately enthralled with Nick still. To create the antidote, Oberon must convince Titania to take him to her bedroom and persuade her to give up these items: her wedding ring, a small portrait of the royal couple, and her royal tiara. With each item a story about the two's romance must be told, as if trying to remind Titania of their bonds. Oberon will have the power to lift the magical essence of each item and create a special white rose. They must make Titania sniff the flower and only then will the potion's effects be lifted.
no subject
[In short, Elma is angry, which is why Queen Titania is stomping around the fae palace in a right state. The ethereal, delicate nature of her outfit looks horribly at odds with her fierce scowl and convulsive arm movements as she repeatedly stops herself from going for weapons she doesn't have on her. After walking for a bit, he notices a gathering of butterflies. It's unusual, and recalling that Tam Lin is the protector of this place, he proceeds forward with some caution, but not taking his weapon as he has his guess as to who might be in the center of all those butterflies.]

SCENE 7: TAM LIN AND CARABOSSE - JUNPEI IORI AND SOUJI SETA
Which form Carabosse takes hints at whatever motive she has for kidnapping Tam Lin. 1) Bonny Rose suggests wanting a new boy toy, 2) Titania the desire to be a better mother than Titania, and 3) Puck that maybe Nick Bottom's yaoi fangirl accusations weren't unfounded. For our characters, they just have to pick out the costume laid out for them and act from there. Regardless of whether Tam Lin follows willingly or must be forced, Carabosse will have the power to cast the sleeping spell. However, the character playing Tam Lin will fall under the sleep curse and remain asleep until the beginning of Act 3 when the role changes. Characters will not know about this side effect until after the spell has been cast.

[Also, a bow and arrow, huh? Not something that Junpei personally had much experience with, unless he could grab Yukari's bow set when she wasn't looking and mess around with it.]
[...Which was exactly what he was doing right now in the woods while waiting for the scene to start. Aiming the bow, pulling back the draw string--]
Please hit!
[His voice was oddly falsetto, letting go to let the bow snap back into place. He chuckled to himself before trying again.]
I won't miss!-- Ugh ... lame!

(frozen comment) ---- INDIVIDUAL TOP LEVELS SEPARATOR ----
Kokichi | Lampwick
[Normally there's an annoying cooldown time between transformations. However, it looks like Kokichi slept for longer than an hour because he looked like this when he woke up.]
Ooookay? Is this some sort of joke, cause I don't get it.
[Guess purple monsters are the new gremlin or something. At least nothing looks like donkey for once.]
Cursed Village: It could be worse!
[Spreading pollen is boring, so he went to go see what's going on in that cursed village. No sooner does he enter the town does he trip on his own two feet and fall into some merchant's cart.]
Oof! Ow...
[He shoves some of the spilled produce off of him as he pulls himself... But ya know what he has? Actual human hands! And when he goes to check, he finds he has a normal human face.]
Ha! The curse broke on me! Suck on that, Carbar-oh.
[He just looked down and saw the hindquarters of a donkey... And he can feel the donkey ears twitching.
.... He pouts at his legs.] Geez... At least I still have hands...
Cursed Village: Actually helping.
[And it turns out he's lucky to still have his brain, too! Is retaining sentience as a donkey exclusive to him, or were the townspeople cursed to be dumbasses?
Either way, it's complicating things.]
Here! Eat this!
[Kokichi's practically waving a rose that practically screams "plot device" in the face of a particularly unintrested donkey.]
Hey. Hey! Aren't ya gonna look up any time soon? I have this nice tasty rose right- NOT THE CABBAGE, THE ROSE. HEEEEYYY!
[The donkey flicks its ears a bit, but it's ignoring Kokichi and focusing on eating cabbage right off a cart. Help a gremlin out before he does something drastic?]
Wildcard 2, Electric Boogaloo
[This is for anything else you want to do with Kokichi. Go nuts.]
Actually helping
Kokichi might hear the quietest clip-clopping behind him as Wembley approaches.]
Um, I think you should maybe just leave it there for them. You won't be able to make them eat it.

Junpei Iori | Persona 3 (Portable) | Prince (West of the Sun, East of the Moon)
[Well, after Souji and Junpei's scene, Junpei... never. Exactly. Woke up again. One could think it was simply the quirk from his own essense, or the spell 'Carabosse' placed on him was just that powerful, but no matter what you did to him, he just... didn't wake up.
So do you try to snap him out of it? Find a way to reverse the spell? True love's first kiss?! Really, who knows, but either way Junpei's out cold for the next little while...]
...Zzzz...
no subject
[ Kokichi's been at this for a while, but no dice. The bear's out cold. He pouts at the sleeping guy, pondering what to do with him... When inspiration strikes. ]
Nee-hee hee... [ He takes out the quill from his journal and tests it out on Junpei's neck...
Then proceeds to vandalize Junpei's face so it looks like his eyes are open. ]
There! That should look convincing enough. [ Now he's gonna grab him and drag him over to the nearest tree... ]

[The giant dog was one thing- at least then once all of this was over no one was likely to easily figure out just who the 'helpful' canine was. He'd preferred it that way, actually. All the better to be left alone once they returned from faerie time.
Now? Now he'd had to snatch some scrap of fabric from an abandoned clothesline in a village to act as a bandanna to cover the lower half of his face. Easily taken and tied in to place since he had hands again, but hell if he wanted to deal with having the lower half of an entire horse body. Great.]
Just keeps getting worse.
[Of course it did.]
Jackassery
[Centaur 76 was moving around the village, tail flicking in agitation as he was at least scoping out the village itself. Watching all of the donkeys roaming about, taking in the bits of clothing hanging on to some of them and- well. Maybe there was a couple that received a kick from back hooves from getting too aggressive with him.
Never wise to get that close behind an already agitated horse anyway.]
Come at me again and you'll get more than a warning kick.
[Maybe help keep him from (or encourage!) knocking out some cursed villager donkeys, get a more 'peaceful' way of lifting said curse.]
Forest Protection Squad
[So.
Someone was still a centaur, even after whatever curse lifting had been done within the village before he left it to enter the forest proper. Bandanna still covering his lower face and various scars very visible on his body and the white/gray hide of his large four-legged horse lower half.
Some small fairy perched on his shoulder, strangely happy to be there, as he walked along a path. A little wary, but at least the path was easy enough to follow-]
Of course there's fetch quests.
[Time to help a cranky horse-butt strengthen barriers!]
Clear the Path!/Wildcard
[Having some trouble in the thorns, or even just knocked down for any reason for what's basically become some odd war of the castle pathway? Easy enough to suddenly be hoisted up by the large and old scar covered centaur making his way through. Those hooves were made for trampling plants and more.
After enough time to accommodate to this shape 76 also knew damn well how to fight as well.
No surprise to find him charging straight through some trolls and orcs, knocking them down with a yell. Using more brute strength than anything else.]
[can also made your own starter with some inspiration from above here.]

[While in the village, Eustace is going to suffer two unfortunate things. One is changing from a black and white fairy corgi to a black kelpie. ...He's honestly not sure which is better since he can't seem to transform out of it unlike the corgi form. But the real unfortunate thing is that his essence's natural desire to consume anything equine is doubled in large part of becoming a kelpie. He had gotten the original problem under control, but now it's like he's starving. So the moment he sees all the donkeys and horse-related forms... Well, he's doing his best, let's put it that way.]
[ a. grumpy herding and gathering. ]
[For the most part, Eustace tries to keep some distance from everyone and focus on gathering the flowers for the cure. The less contact he makes, the better, at least until he can get this craving under control. So there will be large piles of the flowers for those with actual hands to help feed the cursed villagers.
Of course, Eustace has to be more...forceful. Seeing the stray villagers, he'll be trotting over to try and herd them to the piles of flowers he's gathered back within the village. But when some are too stubborn or too slow, his already very tried patience and frustration rears its head.]
I don't have time for this, move unless you want to be eaten instead.
[Not only is that threatening aura almost visible, waves of dark smog gathering around his body, he even nips at them, sometimes even actually biting them on their haunches. Though the ruthless tactics works, the donkeys aren't happy and will bray and make frightful noises as they run back to the village.]
[ b. on the hunt. ]
[Despite his best efforts, the need to attack and eat someone becomes too great. As if possessed, he'll prowl around the riverbanks or lurk within the shadows of the buildings. There is only the sudden appearance of a strange mist before he suddenly lunges out, teeth bared and aiming for either the legs or straight for the vitals. Fortunately it won't take much for him to snap out of it, but until then—watch out!]
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
⊗ ii. helping the forests
[After the disaster in the village, Eustace will stay within the forest for quite a while before venturing out again. This means he'll be alternating between his more or less "normal" form with his ears and tail swapped for more corgi-like ones, and the corgi form.]
[ a. the forests ]
[During most of this time, Eustace will be in his human form since it's easier to deal with the flower and threats, so he'll patrol around the outer perimeters, carrying a few flowers to help patch up any weak areas around the barrier and dealing with any hostiles. Having an extra sensitive sense of hearing, sight, and smell is also advantageous as he's able to hear any odd movement from the shadows. Like right now.]
Careful. They're small, but a few "intruders" are hiding over there. [His voice is low and there's just a subtle glance as he doesn't make any sudden movements.
When not taking care of immediate threats, he'll venture out on the roads to those outposts. During this time, he might switch to his corgi form as despite having stubby legs, he can move pretty fast. Just watch your step!]
[ b. fairy creatures. ]
[A bit unintended, but...rather than being guided, the few times that he takes on the corgi form, several fairies and other small creatures will immediately come around to try and hitch a ride. This leaves him a little perplexed, but when some of them are weak and injured, he relents and carries them to the nursery. So some may bear witness to the odd site of a stubby legged, long dog walking through the forests acting like some kind of transport service for the smaller fairy folk.
At the nursery itself, he'll just curl up on the ground and let them rest against him. Occasionally a fairy might rub his ears or belly and that long tail will thump on the ground. Otherwise, he's just going to chill because this place is peaceful and quiet and he's had a rough day.]

[ Having played the part of Tam Lin previously in the story, Bridge knew the importance of keeping up the barrier, and was more than willing to help.
The only problem was, he was still stuck in his fairy form, which left him only about four inches tall.
Which, on the one hand, made it easier to hide from Erasers and other creatures that might want to attack. Not so much with handling the flower to spread its pollen on the barrier.
As for trying to increase the light...well, music seemed to help sometimes. ]
Fairy Creatures
[ Though the fairies didn't seem to really mistaken him for one of them, they welcomed him regardless. They also seemed to realize that his size made it more difficult to help with some of the other tasks around the forest, and that he was probably better helping to tend the injured at the nursery.
Which...was still difficult, but at least he was able to help get food for people who needed it. And his music even seemed to help with some people's healing. ]

[ Crane isn't talking to anyone in particular. But he's getting a little tired of getting stuck in different forms is getting rather tiresome. First the strange human form when he first arrived, then the fae form when the story started (which, admittedly was a lot like his human form with minor differences here and there), but now this?
He only takes solace in the fact that he seems to be a larger species of deer, but still. ]
All right, let's get this over with.
Clearing the Path
[ Fighting against the hostile plants and fae helps Crane work through some of the frustrations he has with the story, mostly the transformations. Even if he has to fight in the fae form, he's familiar with fighting in his human form that it's not too difficult.
But he also doesn't mind the fae that use illusion and puzzles to try and block their path. It's been a while since he's really challenged his mind, and actually kind of enjoyed working through some of the puzzles, getting to do something other than just fighting.
It was good to exercise both, after all. ]
Wildcard
((If there's something else you'd like to do, go for it!))
Clearing the Path
Still, it's definitely not the safest option, and even though she's trying to be careful, Crane might suddenly here a scream as Kotori is hoisted into the air by her ankles by a vine-woven snare.]

[Wembley has got some heather in hand, and he can see a spot where the shadows are stronger not too far in the distance. But... The truth is, after what happened in the castle with that monster vine in the last Act, he's frightened, and it shows in how he shakes, and in how slowly he nears the darkness - on foot, at that. He still has his pixie wings here, but doesn't feel much like flying.]
Fae Friend
[It would seem Wembley has made a friend - some kind of rabbit... pinecone... fox... thing. Moving behind Wembley and nudging at his back with its snout, he's leading the Fraggle to the critter nursery. Wembley doesn't know this is the goal exactly, but he feels in his gut that he can trust this creature.
With a smile like the one the fae creature wears, though, others may be less certain this interaction is benign... Or might just be curious about the strange sight, or on the same path to the nursery.]
Bicycles?
[A bicycle without a toy horse head would have been confusing enough. This is just... Really weird. Wembley stares at the bicycle for a good, long while, until his head jerks around when he hears someone pass by.]
What is that?

[Roxas had just wanted to help out the people of this small cursed village. He can't imagine what it would be like to be transformed into a donkey. However, he hadn't expected to be afflicted by the curse as well.]
[During his stay in the village, Roxas will be forced into a form that resembles a hippocampus, which means he's essentially bound to what few bodies of water there are here, unless someone manages to help him travel across the village. It seems to help in some cases, where a few of the villagers-turned-donkeys seem to be drawn to fishing gear or piles of laundry by the water. To those individuals he'll try his best to talk to them and see if he can help identify who they are.]
Did you used to fish around here?
II-A - When Your Stars Stop Shining, Endless Vines Around You Winding
[Back out in the forest, Roxas is able to help out much easier since he's got his humanoid form back. And even though there's not a lot of water here, he's got his two swords in hand as he makes his way through the darkened forest.]
[He'll seek out those areas of lingering shadows to help find areas where they need to disperse more pollen to help strengthen the barrier.]
There's a lot of darkness over there. I think the barrier's pretty weak here.
II-B - When The Battle Starts, I Will Comfort Your Restless Heart
[During his treks through the forest, Roxas had stumbled upon a small, brightly-coloured creature that seemed to be in distress. He'd sang it a song to help it perk up, and once it seemed more calm the little creature had rather insistently wanted him to follow it. So he did, and he's been led to the little glade full of other creatures he can't identify but who look to be hurt, distressed, or in need of rest.]
[Roxas has no healing magic at his disposal, but he'll be doing his best to tend to the fae creatures in this little haven. Other Aspects might hear him as he sings to the fae creatures in an attempt to soothe them and help them feel better, and if anyone does find them Roxas is quick to reassure his new entourage.]
It's okay. They're a friend.
ii-a
[ If the three-tailed fox sounds a little skeptical, it's because he is. This is far beyond the scope of Felix's expertise. Give him a weapon and an enemy, he'll take them out. Ask him to 'increase light' and sprinkle pollen on a magic barrier, and he's pretty clueless.
The thing is that Felix doesn't like being clueless. So he's watching Roxas closely, trying to surreptitiously learn without bludgeoning his own ego. ]

[After crossing into the village, Mordred finds herself changed. Where before, she only had goatlike hooves, now she's just...a goat. An ornery goat with a shock of blonde hair on her head that is going around, ramming into those hostile and aggressive donkeys. She's pretty unhappy about being a goat, so this is a great way to vent her frustrations.
Unfortunately, her charging isn't just limited to the former townspeople, she might be lowering her head and speeding at everyone else too. She really only knows two ways of dealing with being angry at something, either sit there and sulk or lash out, and she's not going to sulk. She's a goat, a sulking goat would look ridiculous.]
[III]
[Eventually, Mordred will no longer be a goat, but her mood's only slightly better, so she's taken to clearing a path rather than doing anything else. Hacking away at vines and thorns are a good way to deal with any residual feelings of being pissed off about being a goat for a while. And fighting the trolls and orcs is even better. She can do that!
But what she might have more trouble with is when the road decides to become a puzzle. That's going to bring any real momentum she has to a screeching stop while she tries to figure out which blocks go where. She'll get it eventually, but it'll probably be slow going unless someone wants to lend a hand.]
[i]
Fortunately goat isn't on his menu. But given his own irritation at his current situation, it might. For now he'll avoid her charge before lashing back, kicking out with his hooves.]

[Luckily, there was plenty to do outside of being in the scene. And after some time getting used to his new form (see a below prompt), he's ready to try and figure out how to get rid of this curse.
At the moment he's watching a villager shuffle around lost, their head bobbing and ears flapping. There's a small gingham cloth wrapped around their head like a bonnet, but he hasn't gotten much further than that on figuring out where they belong.]
...Man. I think this'll be harder than I thought.
B. The Forest Barrier
[OH BLESSED BE his regular fairy form is back- I mean, uh. Those wings are making it plenty easy to get the pollen up higher, but actually collecting the flowers is proving to be a bit of a problem. At the moment he's got a small lantern he fashioned himself and is using it to probe around for more blossoms, but considering Erasers are stalking this land, someone to watch is back is greatly appreciated.]
C. Two Legs Good, Four Legs... Better....? (Wildcard I)
[Gobo hadn't been in the village for more than a few seconds before the curse transformed him too. ...And he immediately tripped over his own front hooves and went sprawling to the dirt with a loud cry; hope no one saw that.
Blinking there for a moment, he pushed himself up and looked down, standing there on unsteady feet.]
Wh... what the-??
[Okay Gobo Fraggle, you can do this. Step- other step- uh, other other step- other other OTHER step...? NOPE he goes sprawling again, landing on his back with all four hooves up in the air. Sighing, he flopped back, arms out to either side.]
...Great.
