Informed by one of her spies about Bonny Rose's arrival and entering the forest, Carabosse appears at the forest's edge. Here she will take on the form of someone important to Tam Lin and try to lure him out. Falling for the trick, Carabosse reveals herself. She will first try to convince Tam Lin to join her, and if it fails, he will be cursed to sleep.
Which form Carabosse takes hints at whatever motive she has for kidnapping Tam Lin. 1) Bonny Rose suggests wanting a new boy toy, 2) Titania the desire to be a better mother than Titania, and 3) Puck that maybe Nick Bottom's yaoi fangirl accusations weren't unfounded. For our characters, they just have to pick out the costume laid out for them and act from there. Regardless of whether Tam Lin follows willingly or must be forced, Carabosse will have the power to cast the sleeping spell. However, the character playing Tam Lin will fall under the sleep curse and remain asleep until the beginning of Act 3 when the role changes. Characters will not know about this side effect until after the spell has been cast.
