Summary: So one very unlucky and unhappy former pirate turned dragon just arrived here. Great.

Option One: Library Time

[So after the initial "what the fuck I was just turning into a dragon and now I'm not" freak out, Eizen just made his way to the library. Not needing to do things like eat or sleep, he fully intends on camping out here for a day or two to read up on whoever this "Davy Jones" fellow is. Of course, being Eizen, he's going to totally end up camping out here for several days.

This means you might find him when he first arrives, pursuing the books on sailors and nautical stories and picking out whichever ones look most relevant. Or maybe you spot him when he's been here a day or two and now has The Little Mermaid, the story of Urashima Tarō, and a book of general sailing superstitions. He's pretty okay those first few days, and won't get testy if interrupted. Later, though, you might see him with books on dragons and a lot of empty drink bottles. Be wary around him here.

Either way, if you pass by you will probably have a book fall on your foot. Reaper's Curse and all.]

Option Two: Power Testing

[At some point he gets dragged out of the library and gets directions to the ocean. He's a pirate again, after all, and he's super curious about what he can do. He's figured out he can summon alcohol and that he can summon a small tidal wave that's a few gallons at most, but he has no idea what else he can do.

He's sitting on a rock, looking over his journal and talking to himself.]

...if I get into the water, I'll probably drown. Then again, maybe I won't...

[He looks up, and if you're nearby he may call out:]

Hey, can you swim?

[Eizen just looks at Rokurou like he's crazy. This isn't Phi's compass, there is no way this thing is that attuned to him already.]

[Eizen just raises an eyebrow, but he digs out his key and holds it in his free hand.]

Well? I'm waiting.

[Of course, that's when it starts to glow and tug him along. Eizen stumbles, nearly dropping his drink.]

[And he laughs as he more casually follows along behind.]

Get ready for a crazy road trip. It likes taking the long, scenic route.

[He says as he's being tugged along by a key.]

Out in the woods, a little ways out of town. It's by the river, though, so I can actually stay out there on my own and sustain myself if I wanted. If there was a tavern I'd be set.

[But he's not offended, instead laughing because yeah. Probably for the best—he wouldn't want to be too close to that curse of his, either.]

[ While Velvet has only been here a single day, a girl does need supplies for her new house out in the woods and it's also a good opportunity to explore the city. Most importantly, Velvet needs to find a replacement for her sword because it apparently didn't come with her. She has no idea if the powers that be just decided a Wolf doesn't need an actual sword but that's not the kind of wolf Velvet is.

So that is definitely priority one while she's in town today, though that gets waylaid at the sight of a familiar figure and equally familiar voice. For the moment, he doesn't seem to realize Velvet's nearby. Maybe not surprising considering he's ingrossed in his new journal. Not to mention that her wardrobe has changed drastically. To go with the new set of clothing, Velvet also has a pair of black wolf ears perched on top of her head and an equally dark fuzzy tail hidden beneath the layers of clothing fluff.

She approaches the pirate malak from behind, catching him before he notices her. ]

I could always push you in to find out. Though if you sink like a rock, I'm not diving in to save you.

[Eizen yelps, actually yelps, and nearly falls off his rock.]

What the--

[He turns, eager to punch, only to stop halfway.]

Velvet?

[ Seeing as how Rokurou dropped out of the sky and attacked her first thing, she almost readies herself for another fight with an old ally. But then Eizen aborts the movement so Velvet allows herself to relax.

A few more steps allows her to stand next to him. ]

Looks like I'm not the only one this place has dragged here recently. Rokurou surely would have said something when we met yesterday if he'd known you were here too.

[Eizen straightens up, relaxing a bit as Velvet comes closer.]

Or he was too hungover to remember. It's good to see you again.

[ Her gaze goes over the water and shrugs. ]

Probably more like he got in a good fight with me and then had a drink to celebrate.

[ Yes, the two of them fought. ]

It's nice to see some familiar faces around. On one hand, it feels like I just saw you all yesterday and yet not at the same time.

It's been centuries since I've seen any of you. The only one of us that might still be alive is Magilou.

[Now that they had some time to rest and explore, Roxas took to exploring the rest of the world at his leisure. His exploration eventually led him to the beach, which brought up unexpected feelings of nostalgia. It was still cold due to the winter settling in, and it wasn't all tropical like the islands he'd seen in memories that weren't quite his own, but it was hard not to see the ocean and be reminded of Destiny Islands.]

[But before he could delve too far into his thoughts, he realized someone was calling out to him. He turned to see who it was, noticing the blonde man.]

Huh? Yeah, I can swim.

[Eizen looks over at the kid, second guesses himself for a moment, and then decides "fuck it"]

If I get in the water, can you get me out if I start to drown?

[Eizen what.]

[Roxas blinked, confusion clear on his face as his brows furrowed.]

Uh, sure, but... why are you going in the water if you think you're going to drown?

Because I want to see if I'll still sink.

[Eizen what.]

[No, seriously, what.]

....do you even know how to swim?

Obviously, or I wouldn't be going into the ocean in the first place. But I normally have a life preserver so I don't sink like the rest of my kind.

[ During the first few days is right around when Musashi decides it's time for her to stop messing around with her powers and actually read up on her lore. So off to the library she goes, having absolutely no idea where to start, when she happens to notice Eizen camping out there. Figuring some dude camping out in a library probably knows a thing or two, she starts to approach when--

A thick book on Nursery Rhymes somehow manages to slip off it's shelf and directly onto her foot, almost making her lose her balance and forcing her to use the rest of the shelf to stay upright. ]

Owww ow ow!

[ Said book is getting wildly kicked away, and quite a few other books on the shelf probably shifted from her grabbing it. For now, she doesn't notice, instead complaining out loud. ]

Ugh, ow ... How was that even possible?! Is this library cursed or haunted?

[Eizen doesn't even look up, he just waves a hand.]

That's my fault, sorry. I can't control it.

[ Wow!! But even if she's giving him a dirty look for it, she'll refrain from yelling due to the "can't control it" bit. ]

I guess I can't get too upset if you can't do anything about it ... No, I'm still getting a little upset anyway. You're in a real dangerous place if you've got some kind of book falling curse or whatever! Put up a sign or something!

[He just shrugs.]

I have the Reaper's Curse. There, you were warned.

[It's books, lady. If it were something serious he would have a warning up but it's literally just books.]

It's possible, but not from the books falling on you no. If you were going to die from that, you'd already be dead.
