Characters: Eizen (aka Davy Jones) + whoever
Campaign: All throughout the break.
Format: Brackets preferred
Open + One Closed Prompt for Rokurou
Summary: So one very unlucky and unhappy former pirate turned dragon just arrived here. Great.
Option One: Library Time
[So after the initial "what the fuck I was just turning into a dragon and now I'm not" freak out, Eizen just made his way to the library. Not needing to do things like eat or sleep, he fully intends on camping out here for a day or two to read up on whoever this "Davy Jones" fellow is. Of course, being Eizen, he's going to totally end up camping out here for several days.
This means you might find him when he first arrives, pursuing the books on sailors and nautical stories and picking out whichever ones look most relevant. Or maybe you spot him when he's been here a day or two and now has The Little Mermaid, the story of Urashima Tarō, and a book of general sailing superstitions. He's pretty okay those first few days, and won't get testy if interrupted. Later, though, you might see him with books on dragons and a lot of empty drink bottles. Be wary around him here.
Either way, if you pass by you will probably have a book fall on your foot. Reaper's Curse and all.]
Option Two: Power Testing
[At some point he gets dragged out of the library and gets directions to the ocean. He's a pirate again, after all, and he's super curious about what he can do. He's figured out he can summon alcohol and that he can summon a small tidal wave that's a few gallons at most, but he has no idea what else he can do.
He's sitting on a rock, looking over his journal and talking to himself.]
...if I get into the water, I'll probably drown. Then again, maybe I won't...
[He looks up, and if you're nearby he may call out:]
Hey, can you swim?
Option Three: Closed to Rokurou:
[A continuation of this]
It'll what now?
[Eizen just looks at Rokurou like he's crazy. This isn't Phi's compass, there is no way this thing is that attuned to him already.]
Option Four: Wildcard!
[Come at me]

Get ready for a crazy road trip. It likes taking the long, scenic route.

[He says as he's being tugged along by a key.]
Where's your place, then?

no subject
[He is not going to be your personal tavern, Rokurou.]
...is there a tavern in the town? I didn't get a chance to look.
no subject
[But he's not offended, instead laughing because yeah. Probably for the best—he wouldn't want to be too close to that curse of his, either.]
But there are a few. I can show you the good ones later.
no subject
[And there were some emotions when Eizen found out Rokurou was dead, but.]
Is the tavern free?
no subject
Sounds like something you'd say. But a bit ironic given how we meet again and you're able to make some. You're like my own personal alcohol fountain now. [Meaning he is totally going to go to Eizen for some easy booze if he doesn't feel like going to a tavern or pub.]
But unfortunately, no, they're not. Still have to pay up, but it's not too hard to make money. Should even have some already in your bag.
no subject
[Saving money woo]
And if you treat me like your own personal fountain, I'll knock your teeth out.
no subject
Mostly.
no subject
[Don't lie.]
no subject
[But yeah, he's laughing because Eizen's right.]
Okay, what if we set up some kind of trade or something? Unless you actually want me to pay you.
no subject
[Whoop the key is dragging them off towards the river!]
no subject
Well I have improved on my hunting abilities, so if you ever needed some fresh meat or fish I can deliver.
no subject
[Boys no.]
Besides, I'm a pirate. If I can't get my own fish, I don't deserve the name. Probably take you up on other part of that, though.
no subject
We still haven't settled that, but now you probably have an unfair advantage. All the more reason to prove that I am the better fisherman.
[Boys. It's like they never went their own ways or time had passed.]

[Now...where are they.]
no subject
Huh.
no subject
[Just gonna walk right up to it to investigate.]
no subject
[Just saying. But he follows Rokurou and unlocks the door, opening on to a surprisingly cozy cabin. The windows are all open, letting in fresh air and light, and the furniture is all sturdy and comfortable looking if a bit of a mishmash. Comfortable armchairs, wicker stools, an overstuffed sofa, all set around a chest as though it were a coffee table.]
no subject
He'll at least be polite enough to follow after Eizen into his new abode, taking a curious peek around before letting out a low whistle.]
But this isn't too bad for a pirate's place. [And NOW he'll be the rude friend and just plop himself sideways on one of the armchairs, legs dangled over the sides.] Pretty comfy, too!
no subject
He laughs once he gets there, though.]
Ha! Bait, tackle, and fishing rods, right by the back door. Perfect.
