A - Journal Entry
[After they all return to the Index from their time in Frankenhyde, Roxas spends a couple of days relatively quiet. And who could really blame him? Going berserk, attacking people who were friends, and ultimately dying by the hands of Hyde was a very harrowing experience. While he knows it wasn't ultimately his fault for falling under the influence, he still feels like he has to say something to those he might have hurt... and to those he definitely did hurt.]

I know that a lot of us were pretty badly affected by the past story, and a lot of us have done some things that we weren't proud of. But even if we were all under influences that were out of our control, I still wanted to reach out to anyone who I might have hurt when I wasn't myself.

I'm sorry if I hurt anyone. I'm normally not like that.

B - Around the Index
[Roxas can be found around the Index later on, doing various tasks to keep his mind busy. One such task involves his usual side-job of making deliveries aboard his skateboard. He's not afraid to venture out into the wilds to deliver some mail to Aspects, but he could also be seen (or run into) while he's in the Index properly, packages in hand. While the job lets him keep his mind occupied, he's not against stopping to say hello from time to time.]

[He can also be found in the forest, getting some practice with his Essence powers. Given his latest upgrades, he can be found near the river, a water elemental near him that, using the magic of his voice, he's trying to shape into a specific form. It looks a little funny, but he's still practicing. And still feeling distracted.]

[During the evenings around sunset, Roxas can be found atop the Library's roof, an ice cream in hand as he looks out over the Index. He eats his frozen treat quietly as he observes the view, doing his best to keep the melancholic thoughts away. He's a little hard to spot, but if you do, you could to come up and say hello and pull him from his thoughts.]

Oh, I know her! She's the girl who has a giant flashlight as her powers right?

Haha, yeah. She's the one with the light powers.

Yeah, I'm doing alright. I haven't really had much time to practice puns, though.

But yeah, I've been doing okay! Just dealing with being Hyde and almost getting someone hurt.

But I think that's normal for everyone these days.

And you got that right. I mean, I was lucky that I didn't have to kill anyone but still! Not a fun experience at all!

I know. I'm just glad it's all over for now. It's scary, not being in control of yourself.

Isn't it? It makes me wonder what this place will do and it scares me. I mean, I'm just a kid here.

How am I suppose to handle this?

Well, if it helps, this was the first time this kind of thing has ever happened. Aside from physically transforming, usually this sort of mind-control thing doesn't happen.

But... well. Sometimes if I don't know how to handle things, I try to talk to a friend. Or just... try to see if someone could help me figure things out.

[meowbel]

I'm guessing you've been here for quite sometime now, huh? But on that note, I hope that this is as bad as it gets. Because I don't know how you're handling it!

Trust me, this is coming from a girl who has dealt with a lot back home!

Yeah, I've been here since Aspects started being pulled in. This is the worst I've seen it.

Well, to be fair, I've dealt with a lot of strange things. I've seen a lot of strange worlds, so I try to keep my mind open. I don't blame people who aren't used to that being unsure what to do.

[meowbel]

Oh yeah? Care to tell good ol' Mabel what your world is like?

I would definitely be up for a good story time here!

Well, I've been to a lot of worlds, but the one I call home is Twilight Town.

It's a great place. The sunset can't be beat, and it has the best ice cream in the world. I like to go up to the clock tower to watch the sunset with an ice cream. It's a quiet world, but I like it; it's a change up from fighting Heartless or other monsters all the time. And there's a beach not too far that you can take the train to get to. It's really nice.

What's your world like, Mabel?

Not gonna lie, it sounds like a really nice place. Wish I can go and visit there because it sounds a lot nicer than what I dealt with in Gravity Falls!

Pretty much think of the place as your local small city place where people knows one another. Just add in an multidimensional demon that likes to create havoc and send their demon friends on you and you got yourself Gravity Falls!

Oh and add in the local weirdo that pops out of nowhere sometimes too. Can't forget him!

<font face=courier new?Multidimensional demon? Like, a demon from another world? You know about other worlds too? It sounds like a lot of trouble. How did you manage to deal with all of that?

Oh you know, just in my old Mabel way! By putting on a smile and punching them until they see stars in their eyes!

And almost being killed too. That was definitely not fun.

Heheh. That's fair. I've solved a lot of problems with monsters by swinging my Keyblades at them.

What? No, of course it's not! That's dangerous!

You have no idea! Why do you think that after dealing with an evil triangle demon that all of this?

It doesn't bother me too much anymore! Demon fighting and strange random things happening? It's all nothing new!

Wow...

I guess it's not bad if it helps prepare you for our fights with the Erasers, but I'd imagine it's still hard.

Do you ever want to just be a normal kid?

Of course I do! I mean, I already was before coming to Gravity Falls but it sure does make me wish I could just be lazy.

I miss being able to see my family and spend movie night with them.

I get what you mean. Sometimes all this monster fighting can get really hard. I'd like to get back to just hanging out with my friends back home too.
