Another party in the Beasts' castle
Characters: Jean Kirstein [The Beast]
Campaign: Break
Format: [ brackets ] AND/OR prose do either
Open
Summary: There's a party at the Beasts' castle!
A message (written by a furniture) is sent out through the devices. The strike outs are Jean trying to censor things but they can be seen if you squint.
Welcome to the party on April 10th!
The place is indicated on the attached map.
It is also our Masters' birthday this week (7th)
Do with the information as you please.
Let's have a delightful time!
The places in the castle
The castle & the surrounding rose garden: there are also some wolves wandering in the nearby woods but they do not attack.
Dining room: where the main event, dinner is held. It will take some time for the food to be served since they do a dance.
Library: Not as impressive as the Index main library and most of the books are empty.
Fireplace / Living Room: A cute leg rest that acts like a dog will help you relax by standing under your feet.
Study & the Magic mirror: The magic mirror shows who you're thinking about - if they're in Index, that is.
Dance hall & the attached balcony: The furniture will try to help anyone they think are couple material or seem like need help with making A Move. They may get it wrong sometimes.
West wing & the Enchanted Rose: the restricted area. All the furniture will warn you not to go there and while Jean won't be as aggressive about intruders than before he will still be cautious and snippy.
You can imagine any furniture to be alive, except any bathroom furniture for the sake of my sanity. The main butler is a candelabra, much like the disney versions but even more obnoxious and Lumiére. All the furniture have a French accent except for the leg rest since it barks like a doggo.
Jean's wolf cubs, Connie and Sasha, are around in the library or following Jean. There is also a third one, Frost following Weiss.

[Just stay calm strange furniture doggo. They're busting you out of here!]
no subject
[Furniture doggo starts barking, and trying to lick (???) Alvin.]
no subject
[??? Furniture doggo please stop wiggling and making noise??]
Hey, pipe down!
no subject
[And neither does she. It should be short and snappy!]
no subject

no subject
[Now...which way was it to the front door again? Think it was down this hall.]
no subject
See? Totally not suspicious at all! Now move faster, Alvin!
[Except not too fast because her dress is so poofy. But the front is definitely down this hall.]
no subject
[Does not mention how he also has to compensate for Leia following him.
ANYWAY down the hall they go. ... ...Is it just him or did some suits of armor turned their heads watching them... Spirits he's going to be suspicious of everything now—CAN HE EVEN USE THE BATHROOM??]
no subject
Would you like to trade outfits?
[She retorts as other various pieces of furniture seem to almost turn and watch them hastily scramble down the hall. All of which Leia chooses to ignore because she's too busy trying not to step on her dress.]
no subject
[And then just as they're about to turn a corner, the doggoman barks and manages to wriggle in such a way that it slams into Alvin's knee hard enough to make him swear and accidentally let go.]
Shit!
no subject
Quick! After that dog... thing!
[And she'll be pushing herself up, stumbling and struggling a little while attempting to gather the ends of her dress... ]
no subject
That thing is fast for a piece of furniture!
[And once everything is picked up, they'll book after it at a run.]
no subject
Running in this dress is more difficult than any training I ever had with my mom. [she already sounds out of breath.] Can't believe I'm being outrun by a piece of furniture!
[The best they can do is keep it in their sights as it dashes off down a corner to the right.]
no subject
[It's half a joke—half serious because he feels like she's in some kind of bridal gown and he's helping her with it???]
no subject
[Whether he's joking or not, at least one of them should follow that doggoman.
Though why would it run off if it's about to be free?]
no subject
Looks like it's waiting for us.
no subject
... You don't think that's where all its friends are and it wants us to rescue them too? Or maybe in that room is a way to break the curse?
no subject
...Wait, maybe it's a trap.
no subject
[She hangs back, trying to keep her voice low.]
no subject
...Think we should...probably start heading back.
[Little do either of them know that some chairs have slid over behind them, poised and ready to just push them in and fling them inside.]
no subject
[But the second she turns around she sees a few chairs not too far behind them.]
Hey, Alvin... were those there before?
[Of course they weren't, but she's hoping her memory is just failing her.]
no subject
[But as soon as he turns around, the chairs suddenly rush at them with such alarming speed that they really won't have any time to move or react much.]
What the—!?
[AND NOW THEY'RE GETTING A FREE RIDE INTO THE DANCE HALL.]
no subject
[He did comment earlier about why they got stuck in a cottage when their Essences are royalty. So, once again, Alvin has cursed them both.]
no subject
[And then they are going to be unceremoniously dumped out of the chairs, the doors to the hall slamming shut behind them as if to prevent escape.
Not ominous at all.
But when they manage to look up, they'll be able to see the other guests not turned into furniture and just there enjoying the party and dancing. They might even see a few familiar faces.]
...Looks like it's just a normal party...?
[And he'll be extending a hand to Leia to help her up because spirit knows that dress is not going to be helping her.]
