Summary: After spending all that time in the ocean, Shizuo is not having a great hair day. His hair is changing into all different kinds of colors and he is not happy.

[Should anyone be around Shizuo's house, which is located in a quieter residential district near one of the larger city parks, they will hear a very loud yell something like—]

AUUUUGGGHHHH!!!

[—followed by a sudden onslaught of an electrical lightning storm. Even those not nearby may notice a strange gathering of storm clouds somewhere in the distance, but then again it is the Index. Random things happen every day...]

[The writing is very stiff with some letters a little warped with deep blotches of ink at the end, as if the writer was restraining every ounce of his strength to not tear through the paper.]

Anyone ever use the hair products in this place or.......have their hair turned weird colors?

B: Storming Through Town

[Well, he could stay home and hope someone is able to find something. But he's not that much of a coward and honestly he wants to find the place that sold him the hair dye he used to begin with to give them a piece of his mind. (Or make them feel like he's about to give them a piece of theirs if he's not careful—) So he will be venturing into town...only to find himself standing at where the shop used to be, a "CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE" sign hanging off its door. It clearly looks as if it had been abandoned for quite some time.

There is a sudden SNAP as his hand reaches out to crush it in one grip, more lightning striking around him as the air becomes completely electrified.]

..............I'm gonna find that lying cheap bastard......!!!!

[If no one has run into him by now, there is a very high chance an encounter will happen as he tears through the streets searching for the shopkeeper that had sold him the hair dye he had been using since arriving into this place. And should anyone have the misfortune of doing so, they will notice that not only is his hair a random color, sometimes changing every other minute, but it's styled in the classic Frankenstein monster stripes.

Anyway this guy looks like he's ready to murder someone and he probably will if left unchecked. Just be careful not to get zapped—there's a very intense electrical discharge coming frmo the enraged man.]

[That just incites another bolt of lightning that actually strikes the house, once more lighting it up.]

That's it, I'm going to find that bastard—!!!

[And that's all he manages to say before he just blows past Disciple, running at full speed as the air continues to buzz with hot electricity.]

Ah- [Well he's powerless to stop a guy with super strength and sending lightning everywhere. So all he can do is let him pass and follow after him the best he can. You know I can stop him for you. What do you say? Sparky here look like he'll zap someone dead any minute. He scoffs.]

Like you aren't planning to cause harm yourself. [He's really riled up though! Come on! Let me take him!] Shut up- [He's going to lose Shizuo at this rate, with only a smoking trail to tell him where he's going.] Shizuo!

[Paying no attention or even noticing that Disciple is following, Shizuo goes down a street...and then just vaults up a two story wall because that's faster than going around it. Yep.]

[chippedsoul]

. . . [Now can I come out and catch him?] Tch. [He ignores the temptation. It would not be worth the consequences. Shizuo is still making a ruckus anyway, so while he may have to go around, he is still leaving him a trail to follow.]

[hatesviolence]

[Indeed there is definitely a trail left behind as there are things overturned and the buzz of electricity left in his wake.

Until finally he stops at where the shop he had visited not that long is.........



......................But now there's a veritable storm escalating above him.]

[It's a miracle no one is hurt during all of this. Why can't Hyde be like this? As he eventually reaches Shizuo, he could feel a chill going up his spine. The whole area was super charged up enough to get all his hair standing up.]

. . . [Shizuo's back was too him, and yet he couldn't find his voice to call out to him. He's actually...a little scared for his life. Still, he's not about to abandon this man.]

[hatesviolence]

[The silence remains until Shizuo reaches out to grab the "CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE~" sign and crushes it in his hands.]

Thinks he can just run off, huh......?????

[It's a low rumble that matches the thunder overhead.]

[As he crushes that sign with his bare hands, his hair has turned a fiery red. If the Disciple doesn't do something now, things would just keep escalating. Although there's also a risk that one wrong move and Shizuo may just explode. Drastic moments calls for drastic measures. Easier said than done when you're dealing with a guy who can either electrocute you or send you flying with just a finger, or both.

Though maybe the way to go about this is to overlook it and treat him like any other person when they're fuming. Snap them out of it. It was probably the stupidest idea, but in his head, it seem like the right thing to do. If it backfires...well, he's sure the "failsafe" will kick in, unfortunately. He reaches up to grip his shoulder, firmly calling his name out as he does so.] Shizuo!

[It's a smart move from Disciple...mostly. Shizuo's initial reaction is to suddenly turn on him, looking as if he's ready to punch the sudden invasion.]

[But when he realizes who it is, he falters. ...Wha—]

...Wait...Disciple? What are you doing here?

[He's still tense, but there is a break in that raging storm.]

[chippedsoul]

[His gut reaction is telling him to fight back and fend for himself, but instead he squeezes Shizuo's shoulder more tightly when he suddenly turns and yells at him. Honestly he was expecting to get an electric shock from just touching him.

He stares as he finally recognizes him, trying not to get distracted by his hair that was in the middle of changing to another color.]

...Making sure you don't bring down the whole town with you. [He is still squeezing tightly to Shizuo's shoulder, still just as tensed.]

[hatesviolence]

[Don't draw attention to his hair he's not noticing the change.

But there's another moment of surprise at Disciple's words.]

.....You're not going to try and stop me?

[He honestly expected something like that. After all, the guy's right here.]

[chippedsoul]

[It's turned a swampy green color now. He tilts his head, confused as well.]

Why would I stop you from finding the guy that scammed you? [. . .] But, you had me worried there. You really lost yourself.

[hatesviolence]

[...Hrm. Still irritated, Shizuo just runs an agitated hand through his hair—but this time he's feeling agitated because of what Disciple said.

Lost himself...]

This is how it usually is.

[Begrudging admittance. He knows full well how he gets when he's pissed off and goes on a rampage, and he's not proud of it.]

[chippedsoul]

. . .I see. You did tell me there were things you had to work on yourself. [That blind rage. Is that how he is when he loses himself to Hyde? He takes in some air.]

Well, I was following you the whole time and no one got hurt.

[hatesviolence]

[He takes a deep breath and bows his head a little.]

Sorry about that... But you didn't have to.

[chippedsoul]

[He frowns at that. Quietly.] ...But I was worried about you. [Maybe it doesn't mean much, but for him, it was honestly the first time he's openly expressed his concern for someone else's well being and mean it.]

[Well.

THAT just immediately makes everything around them quiet down. All that electricity and threatening storms? They all but vanish as Shizuo just stares at him.]

...You were?

[chippedsoul]

[He stiffens, finally lowering his hand from Shizuo's shoulder. The way he stares at him and asks that question, it feels like he said something wrong. It does honestly feel strange to actually be concern for someone else after being in isolation for so long. But...it seem right, when Shizuo has stuck by him and his stubbornness for this long.]

Yes.

[....Ah.

He...really was. Shizuo doesn't really expect much from anyone when it comes to himself, and with Disciple it's just one of those things where he's done what he could to help support him, but otherwise followed whatever pace or flow the man had. It's not that he ever thought him uncaring, but... Hearing Disciple say that he was actually worried is unexpected all the same.

So Shizuo feels a little awkward, but it's a good kind of awkward. One born from a small warmth that anyone like himself would feel when told that someone was worried about them. With a hand pressing against the back of his neck, he glances away.]

...Sorry. Didn't mean to.

[chippedsoul]

. . . [He glances away awkwardly as well.] We had a merchant to catch? [And just like that, he changes the subject. It's just...not something he's used to the longer he lets it linger.]

[hatesviolence]

Ah, yeah.

[There's some relief in the switch of topics—but also it rekindles his earlier anger. At least it's tempered a bit so he's not immediately flying into a fit of rage.]

He was some kind of dwarf with blue hair. Saw him just yesterday so he shouldn't have gone far.

[chippedsoul]

[Aha, a description!] All right. Let's take a look around the area then... [He's distracted for a moment by Shizuo's hair changing colors again.]

Someplace secluded, maybe in the alleyways. [Just because the dwarfsmith he visits is in an alleyway, doesn't mean all dwarves are the same!]
