third spark ✖ bad hair day
Characters: Shizuo Heiwajima [Frankenstein's Monster], anyone
Campaign: Break
Format: [ brackets ] preferred, but okay with either!
Open
Summary: After spending all that time in the ocean, Shizuo is not having a great hair day. His hair is changing into all different kinds of colors and he is not happy.
[Should anyone be around Shizuo's house, which is located in a quieter residential district near one of the larger city parks, they will hear a very loud yell something like—]
AUUUUGGGHHHH!!!
[—followed by a sudden onslaught of an electrical lightning storm. Even those not nearby may notice a strange gathering of storm clouds somewhere in the distance, but then again it is the Index. Random things happen every day...]
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
A: Journal Call out
[The writing is very stiff with some letters a little warped with deep blotches of ink at the end, as if the writer was restraining every ounce of his strength to not tear through the paper.]
Anyone ever use the hair products in this place or.......have their hair turned weird colors?
If you haven't—don't.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
B: Storming Through Town
[Well, he could stay home and hope someone is able to find something. But he's not that much of a coward and honestly he wants to find the place that sold him the hair dye he used to begin with to give them a piece of his mind. (Or make them feel like he's about to give them a piece of theirs if he's not careful—) So he will be venturing into town...only to find himself standing at where the shop used to be, a "CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE" sign hanging off its door. It clearly looks as if it had been abandoned for quite some time.
There is a sudden SNAP as his hand reaches out to crush it in one grip, more lightning striking around him as the air becomes completely electrified.]
..............I'm gonna find that lying cheap bastard......!!!!
[If no one has run into him by now, there is a very high chance an encounter will happen as he tears through the streets searching for the shopkeeper that had sold him the hair dye he had been using since arriving into this place. And should anyone have themisfortune of doing so, they will notice that not only is his hair a random color, sometimes changing every other minute, but it's styled in the classic Frankenstein monster stripes.
Anyway this guy looks like he's ready to murder someone and he probably will if left unchecked. Just be careful not to get zapped—there's a very intense electrical discharge coming frmo the enraged man.]

Or something, it was kind of light.
But it's enough to snap him out a little, especially when he looks down to see who it is.]
Who——— Kotori??
no subject
Y-yeah, it's me... [.... Aaaand it's only NOW that just running up and grabbing him in the middle of the street might be awkward. Very slowly and carefully, she unwraps her arms from around him.] I... sorry but... the cart...
no subject
[ISN'T SHE DOING SOMETHING DANGEROUS?? However his words fall when she continues to talk and...the cart?
There's a loud braying sound above him as he realizes he's still holding up a cart.
Ah.]
Step back, I'm just moving it.

But once he's out of the way, everyone quickly resumes, not wanting to stay any longer than they already have.]
no subject
Are... you okay, Shizuo-san? Is it Hyde again?
[She's VERY glad it's not something like the Monster taking over.]
no subject
No, it's not. Some ba—[..................] Asshole sold me bad hair dye. He's already run off so I'm trying to find him so I can kick his ass.
[Asshole is better than bastard, sure. As well as not saying kill him. Way to go, Shizuo, so proud.]
no subject
A-ah... Now I get it. [She's... also a bit perplexed because THAT'S what he's all bothered about? But she barely stops herself from saying as much.] I'm actually a little relieved. For a second, I thought it was Hyde, or something new in your Essence... I've never seen you this riled up before, Shizuo-san.
[Which, you have to admit, is pretty impressive given it's been almost a year.]

That's true, you have a point. Hm... you're probably not the only one he's done this to. Maybe we can go to the police and see if they know anything. [And, you know, file a proper report and let them handle it.] And then afterwards I can take you to this one apothecary shop I get my contact solution from. I think they might have hair dyes.
no subject
[Yes, that's the first thing he asks.
But it's not like he missed the other stuff. Her idea is a reasonable one, so he was turning it in his head when she revealed that tidbit.]
no subject
[Like the night Shizuo knocked on her door with Roxas beaten up by Hyde. Why she feels the need to blush about that, she doesn't know. Maybe it's because she looks nerdy with her glasses, or at least so she thinks. And yes, she REALLY needs either one or everything is one blurry mess.]
no subject
Think...
Thinks................]
Ah. I think I remember. Was a while back so forgot about it.
no subject
Yeah, my eyesight is pretty bad on its own. [She takes a step away, but still looking at him, expecting him to follow.]
Thankfully I found a shop that sells really good contact solution, which is REALLY good since I thought I'd run out of the solution I bought eventually. [Because you do NOT want contacts to dry out.] If they have hair dyes there, I'm sure they'll work great!
no subject
[The stormy clouds rumble a bit, but the air is calming and the clouds themselves are fading.]
All right, you can show me the place. But I still have to find that asshole and beat him for this after.
[Take the win, Kotori.]
no subject
Even after we give our report to the police?
[Seriously, what is WITH him today? She's never seen him threaten ANYONE but Hyde with violence, and only after Hyde had seriously hurt Roxas. Otherwise, any fighting she's witnessed has been self defense, or to protect someone else.]
no subject
[That's all he "says," a click of his tongue.
HE'S PISSED OKAY, KOTORI. HE'S NOT THE GREAT GUY YOU THINK HE IS
loses some heart points]no subject
It's okay, the CPR probably gave her enough heart points that she can afford the hit.For now, she just sighs... she's not mad, just a teensy bit disappointed and worried.]
Don't worry, Shizuo-san. We'll do what we can to find who did this, and we'll get your hair fixed too. And afterwards I can take you to lunch somewhere.
[His choice, bill's on her.]
no subject
[With the lunch thing that is. And he won't let her pay!!]
no subject
I know I don't.
[But she wants to, she all but says. He'd do the same for her, right?]
no subject
All right. Do you know where the nearest police station is? ...Do they have one of those...? [He's thinking of the smaller ones usually found in Japan.]
no subject
They don't really have kōban here, but there are a few bigger police stations throughout the city. There's one on the way to the Library, right next to this one cute cafe that has a REALLY nice pastry menu!
[And no one was surprised THIS is how Kotori determines her landmarks.]
no subject
[The thought of sweet pastries seems to mollify him a bit more and he nods.]
We can go there then.
no subject
[You know, best to show the police the damage first before fixing it, but after that, they can fix it as quickly as Shizuo wants.]
no subject
[Honestly he'd like it right away, but when she tells him he should keep for the police, he'll relent. So he can hold out for that long, but no later.]
