A - The Doctor is out [Network]

I will not be meeting with clients in person until further notice. If you must make an inquiry for some medicine, use the journal to contact me. I will let you know when it's ready to be picked up.

B- A nightly stroll in the forest

[Anyone who happens to be wandering around or living in the forest, might hear a disturbance during the nighttime. It doesn't occur every night, but when it does, it sounded like someone was cutting down the trees. There's also a low rumbling like thunder that occasionally accompanied the sound afterwards, like a rhythmic thumping. Looking into the source, they will find themselves at the edge of the Index. The ground appeared unstable, with trees uprooted and large boulders that have been split into smaller pieces scattering about the area.

This warzone was only found along the edge of the Index, and every few nights, a new area would turn into a disaster area. If someone manages to catch the person in the act, it turns out to be the Disciple, or was it the Disciple? The low rumbling noise was from him ramming trees into the barrier or throwing boulders at it. Whatever he could pick up and throw, which was almost anything, he was directing them at the barrier. A few times he was crazy enough to punch the barrier.] I need...to go... [If you manage to get in close enough, you can hear him mumbling about going somewhere. It doesn't seem like he's quite all there himself. Are those pajamas he's wearing?]

[Roxas lives on the lake outside of town, so he's fairly close to the forest. He hears some sort of disturbance late one night. Concerned as to what might be causing it, he grabs his swords and heads out into the forest to investigate the source.]

[He's surprised that his search takes him to the edge of the Index, and at all the destruction around. But he's even more surprised at just who caused all this destruction.]

Disciple..? [The serious man with the amnesia back during the hot pot party?]

[chippedsoul]

[It doesn't look like he heard Roxas calling out to him. He's still ramming a tree into the barrier, over and over until the tree couldn't take it anymore and breaks apart.]

Tch. [It's onto the next tree, or boulder.] Let me out! [He goes for throwing a boulder into the invisible barrier.]

[twilightskey]

[Holy crap. Roxas visibly jumps when that tree breaks apart, and winces as the Disciple throws the boulder at the barrier.]

Disciple!!

[He tries again, yelling louder this time.]

What are you doing??

[chippedsoul]

[He stumbles slightly while trying to uproot another tree.] Hm? [Finally, Roxas manages to get his attention, but at what cost? His eyes shined yellow in the darkness as he looks the boy over. He scoffs when he sees his swords. Did he know how to use them?]

Leaving this place. What do think I'm trying to do? [He gives that tree one hard push and just knocks it over, the ground shaking as it lands.] You're awfully far away from where you should be.

[Roxas sees those yellow eyes and tenses, one hand lowering to rest near one of his swords's hilt. The swords are still sheathed at his sides, but they're easily within reach if he needs them. Which, he's seriously hoping he won't have to.]

I came out to investigate what all this noise was. [This was completely opposite of the calm Disciple he remembered talking to back at the party, and it puts him a little on edge.]

You said before that the Storyteller rescued you when the Erasers showed up in your world. What do you think would happen if you went back by yourself? If you want to go back so bad, then ask the Storyteller for help.

[Rokurou was just finishing a training session up his new training room. It had been quite a pleasant surprise to find it there attached to his cabin, and he was making full use of it. But even though it had been a while since he had been in the forests again, he knew the sounds he heard were not natural.

So after a quick change and now armed with both of his original greatswords (well, copies, anyway, but he'll take it) he makes his way towards the sound. The night animals aren't usually noisy, but not even the bugs or frogs were making a racket. The first few times he only sees the aftermath, but after deciding to camp out, he's able to more quickly discover the source.



And is surprised by what he finds.]

[Or...should he say Hyde? In any case, he's going to slowly approach the mad man.]

[It doesn't seem like he's aware Rokurou is there. He continues to ram at the barrier with the tree he had knocked over. He needs to get home. That's all that matters to him right now.]

[....Uuuuuh.]

You know that's not going to get you anywhere, right? Even if it did break, you're just stepping out in space.

[Nope, still banging away. He doesn't seem to care as long as he can get out of here.]

[Well that's a weird message. Then again, he heard how he kind of went crazy back in the last story... He had been meaning to check on him since then, so this is as good of a time as any.]

Hey. Everything okay?

[chippedsoul]

Fine.

[That's it. One word.]

[Well he knows Disciple isn't a man of many words, but.]

Sure? Taking a break or something?

[chippedsoul]

[There's a pause.]

[ She should probably keep away from him until things calm down. ... But this the network. That makes it different! She doubts he wants anything to do with her whatsoever after what happened, but she's going to respond anyway. ]

I guess this means your hand is doing better. Take whatever time you need. I want to speak to you as soon as you're willing to.

[chippedsoul]

[There's no immediate response. The Disciple was...sorting his feelings to be seeing something from her, getting mixed with the rage he was feeling from someone else.]

Can it not be said over this? [Because he...he definitely does not want to see her if he can avoid it.]

Important conversations should be face to face, shouldn't they? I made dumplings and everything too.

[ Doing it with text feels so impersonal! ... But a second later she continues her response. ]

Well, I understand why you don't want to. I wouldn't want to see me either after that! So fine, if you'd rather it this way, then I'll deal with it.

[She made...dumplings? Some form of an apology?]

For your safety, I do not recommend a meeting at this time. So whatever you need to tell me, this method is prefer.

[...What a waste on those dumplings though.] You can always just drop off the dumplings if you must insist.

[Before all the sleepwalking and after Rokurou's little party announcement, the Disciple decided this was probably a good time to get into contact with someone.]

Kotori. [Hopefully she'll answer?]

[Oh uh... this is not a thing Kotori expected. Or... maybe she should have, given how the talk with Rokurou turned out to be not so private after all. And she thinks she saw Disciple responding to Rokurou at one point and OH MY GOSH, IS HE MAD AT HER? WHAT IF HE'S MAD AT HER, SHE REGRETS ALL HER LIFE CHOICES!

Nope, nope, it's fine. Just... ask what he wants first. Right? Right.]

Yes, Disciple-san?

[It's a good thing these journals isn't showing her panic right now.]

I wanted to do something as a thank you for the food. I recall you had trouble handling knives?

[What does that have to do with thanking her?]

B SIDE TIME

[After dropping off Roxas and promising Kotori he'd be careful, Shizuo is now back in the forests where he had found the boy. The earth is still messed up pretty bad, and he'll follow it back towards the barrier.

But trying to actually find the guy would be a pain, and despite how he appeared back at Kotori's, his patience was gone. So.]

HYDE!? GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE!

[chippedsoul]

[Despite how loud Shizuo's voice was, he doesn't get an answer back. Usually Hyde would be thrilled to pick a fight with Shizuo, but not this time. His host is currently passed out, somewhere near where the river splits.]

[hatesviolence]

[Normally the bastard would be quick to respond to him, so when he's only met with silence, he just clicks his tongue in annoyance and continues his own search. But as he continues to follow the river and reaches where it splits, he notices something lying on the ground.

Picking up his pace, he hurries over to check and—]

Disciple??

[Immediately he bends down to check his pulse—okay, just passed out. And it looks like it's just Disciple... Was it from the fight with Roxas or did he just exhaust himself?

Well. Here he was ready to drop kick Hyde into the void but he has an unconscious Disciple instead. For the moment he'll try to rouse him.]

[chippedsoul]

[His sleep isn't too deep that a bit of nudging will eventually bring him to a waking state. What awaits him just brings him utter confusion as he sits up with a start. ] What- [He hisses, pressing a hand over the his stomach where Roxas had struck him. Mistakes were made sitting up so fast.]

H-How...? [The starry night sky was not the ceiling of his home last he checked. And beside him was Shizuo. He stares dumnbfounded up at him. Why is he here? What is happening?]
