Summary: There's a party at the Beasts' castle!

A message (written by a furniture) is sent out through the devices. The strike outs are Jean trying to censor things but they can be seen if you squint.

Welcome to the party on April 10th!
The place is indicated on the attached map.
It is also our Masters' birthday this week (7th)

The places in the castle

The castle & the surrounding rose garden: there are also some wolves wandering in the nearby woods but they do not attack.

Dining room: where the main event, dinner is held. It will take some time for the food to be served since they do a dance.

Library: Not as impressive as the Index main library and most of the books are empty.

Fireplace / Living Room: A cute leg rest that acts like a dog will help you relax by standing under your feet.

Study & the Magic mirror: The magic mirror shows who you're thinking about - if they're in Index, that is.

Dance hall & the attached balcony: The furniture will try to help anyone they think are couple material or seem like need help with making A Move. They may get it wrong sometimes.

West wing & the Enchanted Rose: the restricted area. All the furniture will warn you not to go there and while Jean won't be as aggressive about intruders than before he will still be cautious and snippy.

You can imagine any furniture to be alive, except any bathroom furniture for the sake of my sanity. The main butler is a candelabra, much like the disney versions but even more obnoxious and Lumiére. All the furniture have a French accent except for the leg rest since it barks like a doggo.

Jean's wolf cubs, Connie and Sasha, are around in the library or following Jean. There is also a third one, Frost following Weiss.

Outside/Rose Garden
[Of course he was walking the outside of the castle, more out of habit before going in than anything. Getting familiar in case there was any reason to swing by again outside of some open invite that didn't seem to be wholly wanted.

It was curiosity that had Kiryu come, and that he was familiar enough with Jean after a brief meeting.

He was eyeing the garden, the flowers within, tail swaying idly as he walked. Picking up the scents- and perhaps preparing for his nose to be assaulted when he did go inside judging from what he could get out here.]

Dance Hall
[All of the moving furniture when he'd first come in had been given a wary side-eye, but Kiryu had kept going.

Reason he'd ended up just moving along the edges of the dancing area, keeping on the edges on the crowd formed by those gathered and actually dancing. Had been years since he'd last danced. Disco had fallen out of style, and it wasn't as if he was well acquainted enough to want to step out on to the floor.

Just kept watching, a drink in hand.]

Hm.

[Ah, see, no one should be alone by a dance floor without dancing, that seems silly! At least, Serah thinks it's silly, and the Big Bad Wolf is going to get accosted by a Valkyrie while he watches the dance floor.]

You sure look like you wanna get out there and dance, am I right?

[Because he knows he wants to get down on that dance floor and DANCE.]

[He heard her coming before he, well, heard her speak. Not that he though much of it, people coming and going while invited to a party and dancing was normal. Just easier for him to step aside as needed, an easy slide of a paw and-]

Been a few years since I danced.

[To put it vaguely, Kiryu tilting his head as he looked her way.]

[At least he's not too jumpy and ready to attack or something! He looked pretty chill, if she was honest, and not someone who would be too like that... at least, in her cursory judgement of him. So far, so good.]

That's fine, it's not on a test or something. I'm sure you'll be fine and I'll forgive any stepped on feet.

[Get ready for some DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION.]

[Wait. What?

His head tilted and brow furrowed, and while it likely did make him look like the type there was just a bit more confusion than anything else. Was this just... asking him to dance? Really?]

Not sure this is my style.

[Disco dancing and even doing so for a little competition? That was the last time he'd danced. Not. Well. Still, Kiryu was looking between her and the dance floor itself.]

It'll be fu~un~ [in a silly, sing-song-y voice] Plus it really looks like you wanna dance. So why not give it a shot?

[She could maybe try to make them both float via her aspect and the fact that she can fly like that... maybe that would spice things up or make it interesting?]

Besides, why just watch people dance?

[He made a noise, like a laugh not quite allowed to make much of a noise or change his expression that much. More some habit than trying to quell it down, just how he was.]

Doubt any of you kids want to see someone dance disco.

['Kids' said more in a lighthearted way than anything, some little twitch of lips -ghost of a smile- easily missed with it.

Clearly needed something to 'lighten' up, or something.]

I don't know how to do that, but I'm a quick learner, if you don't wanna dance it alone.

[She'd do it if it meant getting him to not be a wallflower here!]

But you got to show it to me first. Deal?

[There are two small wolf cubs sniffing near Kiryu. They are curious about this new person who seemed a lot like them?? But a human and big.

Jean is nearby, but just watching - ready to call them back if needed.]

[Those ears of his flicked back, pausing a little as his attention drifted with a slight wrinkling of his nose. Nothing wrong with it of course, but more some sort of puzzlement on why the scent caught his attention so quickly. All of this was still very new and weird.

Only took a few seconds for him to spot the sources.]

Find something?

[Most he was used to was the dog the children kept at the orphanage, really. Still.]
