Summary: There's a party at the Beasts' castle!

A message (written by a furniture) is sent out through the devices. The strike outs are Jean trying to censor things but they can be seen if you squint.

Welcome to the party on April 10th!
The place is indicated on the attached map.
It is also our Masters' birthday this week (7th)

The places in the castle

The castle & the surrounding rose garden: there are also some wolves wandering in the nearby woods but they do not attack.

Dining room: where the main event, dinner is held. It will take some time for the food to be served since they do a dance.

Library: Not as impressive as the Index main library and most of the books are empty.

Fireplace / Living Room: A cute leg rest that acts like a dog will help you relax by standing under your feet.

Study & the Magic mirror: The magic mirror shows who you're thinking about - if they're in Index, that is.

Dance hall & the attached balcony: The furniture will try to help anyone they think are couple material or seem like need help with making A Move. They may get it wrong sometimes.

West wing & the Enchanted Rose: the restricted area. All the furniture will warn you not to go there and while Jean won't be as aggressive about intruders than before he will still be cautious and snippy.

You can imagine any furniture to be alive, except any bathroom furniture for the sake of my sanity. The main butler is a candelabra, much like the disney versions but even more obnoxious and Lumiére. All the furniture have a French accent except for the leg rest since it barks like a doggo.

Jean's wolf cubs, Connie and Sasha, are around in the library or following Jean. There is also a third one, Frost following Weiss.

[ Luca was similarly interested in the library, but the sight that greets him as he enters is the man who calls himself "Sherlock Holmes" climbing the shelves like some kind of monkey. ]

Wha- What are you doing up there?

[Sherlock casually glances over his shoulder, fails to get a good look at Luca like that and tries to instead peer at him from under his arm. ... Yeah, this works.]

What does it look like? I'm on a hunt for knowledge!

[ That looks rather uncomfortable sir, are you sure?? ]

Knowledge? From the books? [ He wanders over to a bookcase that Sherlock is not climbing on, but if there are books lying about he may just pick it up and flip through it. ] Were you looking for something specific?

[Yeah it's fine, he does uncomfortable stuff all the time. You should see him sleep. So he'll just... keep hanging on for now.]

Oh, no, not at all. Any knowledge will do. You never know when it might come in handy, you see!

... [ He turns to face the detective. ]

That doesn't explain why you're climbing the shelves.

Well, that's elementary. It's because the books down below hold no knowledge whatsoever.

[Indeed, most of Jean's books are blank for some reason. What a disappointment. But there's some written word in some of the books, so for Sherlock it's just a matter of gathering those up.]

What do you mean by that?

[ Maybe he'll... Pick one of these up for himself to look... ]

I mean what I said, of course! The pages are a pristine white. [...] Ah, well, some are more yellowed than others.

What?

[ He is going to flip through these books himself... ]

... Oh. Odd... Now why would someone like our host need so many journals?!

[ More importantly, why doesn't Luca have something like this at home? At least he'd be able to fill these journals out. ]

More importantly, isn't it false advertising to shelve these journals in a library? People come here to read, not write.

[Even as he says it, Sherlock carefully peels another book from the top shelf and allows it to open in the palm of his hand. Alas, another empty one. Disappointed, he drops it all the way down to the ground.]

[ Well, it's probably a blessing Luca happened to be standing about ten inches from where the book landed. Otherwise it would have given him more head trauma instead of a start. ]

H-Hey! Careful where you're tossing that!

[ He had another thought here, but ya scared it out of him. Good jerb. ]

Haaah? [He peers down to where the book landed, then looks to Luca.]

Should you be standing there? You're right in my drop zone.

"Drop Zone?!" Sir, even if they are just blank journals, it is rude to just leave them scattered all over the floor instead of putting them back! Especially if this isn't your house!

Why would I put them back if they're empty? Seems rather pointless, doesn't it? It'd be better to clear these useless things out and replace them with books which hold actual words!

[This is not his house, but... You know. He's making that decision for Jean.]

You'd put them back because it's better than making a mess in someone else's house! Would you like it if someone threw half of your things everywhere for people to trip over?

[Sherlock can't help but laugh at that sentiment.] Ha ha ha! My things are already everywhere for people to trip over! I've been told it's quite vexing!

. . . That's not something to be proud of!

[ In that moment, Luca gets a wild idea. ]

And what if you invited someone into your home, they find your things all over the place, and they decide to tidy it all up without your permission?
