A - The Doctor is out [Network]

I will not be meeting with clients in person until further notice. If you must make an inquiry for some medicine, use the journal to contact me. I will let you know when it's ready to be picked up.

B- A nightly stroll in the forest

[Anyone who happens to be wandering around or living in the forest, might hear a disturbance during the nighttime. It doesn't occur every night, but when it does, it sounded like someone was cutting down the trees. There's also a low rumbling like thunder that occasionally accompanied the sound afterwards, like a rhythmic thumping. Looking into the source, they will find themselves at the edge of the Index. The ground appeared unstable, with trees uprooted and large boulders that have been split into smaller pieces scattering about the area.

This warzone was only found along the edge of the Index, and every few nights, a new area would turn into a disaster area. If someone manages to catch the person in the act, it turns out to be the Disciple, or was it the Disciple? The low rumbling noise was from him ramming trees into the barrier or throwing boulders at it. Whatever he could pick up and throw, which was almost anything, he was directing them at the barrier. A few times he was crazy enough to punch the barrier.] I need...to go... [If you manage to get in close enough, you can hear him mumbling about going somewhere. It doesn't seem like he's quite all there himself. Are those pajamas he's wearing?]

[It doesn't seem like he's aware Rokurou is there. He continues to ram at the barrier with the tree he had knocked over. He needs to get home. That's all that matters to him right now.]

[....Uuuuuh.]

You know that's not going to get you anywhere, right? Even if it did break, you're just stepping out in space.

[Nope, still banging away. He doesn't seem to care as long as he can get out of here.]

[...A part of him actually wants to see if he can break it. But this might also be drawing attention of unwanted creatures, so he should probably try and stop him. Plus, it's clearly Hyde, and he had been wanting to fight him again............]

Guess I have no choice. [And unsheathing both his greatswords, the hand holding Stormhowl already tingling in excitement of having the blade back. Well, all right it's a copy, but it's a pretty damn good one.

Without another word, he'll suddenly lunge towards Hyde, blades raised and ready to bring them down in a powerful double sideways slash.]

[His spider senses are tingling He may not have been saying anything to Rokurou, but that doesn't mean he isn't aware of his presence. As Rokurou lunges at him, instead of continuing to ram the barrier, he turns to swing the tree in Rokurou's direction to meet with his swords.]

[He would have been disappointed if Hyde hadn't been paying attention, so although it's a swinging tree, Rokurou's grin twitches up a little farther. Unsurprisingly, the swords dig into the wood and the daemon is stopped, grunting a bit by the power behind it. But he just pushes back and pulls back on his swords, slashing the wood to leave deep cuts in it.]

[He's going to let go, sending the tree flying since it's no longer of any use to him.]

I know I don't normally say no to a fight, but....not tonight. [He keeps his eyes on Rokurou's movements in the darkness, not expecting Rokurou to listen. He seem unusually more focused tonight.]

[...Yeah, that's weird.]

Is bashing against an invisible wall really that much more fun?

I have to leave. [If Rokurou's not to going to keep up the fight, he's going to find something else to smack that wall with.] I have somewhere to be.

...Yeah, if you actually want to leave this place, I don't think this is it. Just ask the Storyteller to send you home.

[At least he thinks that's how it might works. Guy(?) brought them all here, makes sense to ask them.]

[He hums quietly at the thought as he presses a hand onto one of the trees.] Killing him sounds more fun. [Annd with just a push, down goes that poor tree that did nothing wrong.]

[....Bro.]

Man you really are something else...

[Just running a hand against the back of his neck as he...actually kind of cringes upon seeing that tree being pushed down. Poor tree. Alfyn would definitely be upset at that.]

Well, can't say I didn't try, but even if you don't feel like fighting, you're making a racket. So as my duty as warden of the forest or something, gotta put you down.

["Warden of the forest" his ass, but Huntsman, animals not happy, something something let's be real he just wants to fight.]

Keke, you're welcome to try. [He sounds rather amuse of Rokurou's threat, picking up the tree with one arm. Perhaps he really did want a fight. Off to smack the barrier some more until Rokurou actually makes a move.]

[You know you want to fight, no need to deny it, Hyde.]

I'll have some fun either way. Got some new moves I've been itching to try!

[Guess he's also going to be chopping some wood. Shifting into a stance, he just grins before he once again lunges at Hyde with both of his greatswords, slashing with one before following with the other.]

[The problem with just wandering through the forest in your PJs is not bothering to bring a weapon. So he'll have to make do when what he has. He grabs the tree with his other hand and splits it in two, using both to block Rokurou's swords. They may end up getting cut through, but better the tree than himself, as it gives him an opportunity to back up to a better position.]

[This time the force behind Rokurou's swings is intended to cut the wood more deeply, and since it's split in half, well. It's not like cutting through butter, but each blade goes through far enough to cause enough splintering and fracturing to further weaken and break the pieces.

Still, he has to swing his blades free of the broken wood, which will give Hyde enough time to get in that position before Rokurou continues forward.]

[He drops onto all fours, claws digging into the dirt before lunging foward. He intends to swipe at Rokurou's legs to knock him down while he's busy dealing with the wood.]

[Well. That's not something he would have expected, and Hyde's speed is nothing to scoff at. With Rokurou having to deal with the wood and not expecting the lunge to his legs, Hyde is successful in bringing him down.

Oof.

But he will be quick to try and raise an arm to defend against any blow that may be coming next.]

[The attack doesn't come, instead Hyde ops to grab him by the ankles and proceed to toss him into, you guessed it, the barrier.]

[Actually that feels kind of funny—

As expected, it's as if the daemon hit an invisible wall, glyphs and characters briefly appearing around him before he's basically pushed back out towards Hyde with incredible force like a sling shot.]

[Hyde chooses not to move out of the way and braces for the impact. He can feel it, he's gain more strength since the campaign ended, so of course he wanted to test his new limits. He extends his arms out to grab Rokurou and stop him as he lands a direct hit. He skids backwards from the impact, but he manages to keep himself standing. Get ready to be slam dunked into the ground Rokurou.]

[Rokurou is still reeling a bit from not only being thrown against an invisible wall, but suddenly shot forward by said invisible wall. He's at least able to regain enough sense to see where he's heading, and he can't really do much in the short time other than brace himself for impact.

But then he's caught and—uh oh. Quickly he'll grab onto Hyde's arms, trying to wrestle himself so that he can try and plant his feet on the ground. At the very least, by grabbing onto Hyde's arms he'll try to use the momentum to bring him down with him if he can't stop himself.]

[Oh, he wants to take him for a ride? That's fine. Rokurou may manage to get himself onto his feet, but Hyde was also pressing down against him. Using his inhuman strength, he's going to push him down further, hopefully to force him off his feet and pin him into the ground.]

[Rokurou may not be at his full daemon strength due to the whole essence thing, but he's still got plenty of it, enough to at least withstand Hyde's pressure for a little longer. Gritting his teeth, he continues to push against him as digs in his heels further into the ground, even as he sinks a little more.

Then he makes a split second decision to release his hold on Hyde and in a bright flash one of his gunblades appears in his hands. Unfortunately, it's the rifle, so not the most maneuverable, but it'll do to try and smack him. At the very least it should catch him by surprise.]
