Entry 002
Characters: Kazuma Asougi | Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde and anyone!
Campaign: Break
Format: [ brackets ] preferred
Open
Summary: The campaign has ended and the Disicple is busy at work, finding a means to control his essence.
[A - Gardening 101]
[There's a greenhouse attached to the home the Disciple had been assigned to. Though he didn't have much of a green thumb himself, he understands he needs to know a few things to make his medicines. He's been holding off on figuring out stuff thanks to the whole "fixing the story" thing, but now that he's back in the Index, he's been working nonstop to setup the labs and work on finding a means to keep his essence under control.
In order to use the greenhouse though, he'll need plants. So the first opportunity he gets, he heads for the markets, to gather some seeds, potted plants and some gardening tools for the greenhouse. Being able to hull everything back though is another thing. It doesn't help that there seem to be rouge snowmen trying to hinder him by dumping snow or throwing snowballs at him. At least he's sure the snowmans are up to something. No one seems convinced when he points them out though.] Hey-! You saw that, didn't you? [He ask whomever is near him. The snowman at this point would have stopped moving, posing like snowman's normally do.]
[Once he's gotten whatever he could take back with him, he'll be seen working in the greenhouse of his home, even into the dead of night, the lights coming on inside. There are some days smoke seems to be coming from the building, as he busily experiments with medicine making. Nothing has exploded, not yet anyway.]
[B-That's how the cookie crumbles]
[Waking up to his home partially made of gingerbread is not a great way to start your day. he chose to ignore the bizarre occurrence at first, assuming it'll return to normal, but then parts of his home starts to crumble apart from the snow falling outside, leaving holes here and there.] What the hell... [As he walks outside to survey the damage, he pulls off the front door, it having turned into gingerbread as well. How is he supposed to stop this??]
[C-Wildcard]
Hit me up if you like to do something else!

But he'll take whatever bags Disciple hands him. It's a bit of a juggle, but he just has them over his other shoulder and can still carry it with relative ease thanks to his strength. After the next bag, though, Shizuo will just eye the man.]
I think this is plenty.

The salesman notice him eyeing his wares and entices him to make a purchases, which he declines and moves on, like he hadn't been staring at their stall.]

Shizuo just sighs when Disciple puts down the ornament and just silently follows after like he always had...until he watches the man stop by the snowglobe stand. Now, Shizuo didn't really have much else to do other than look around or watch Disciple figure out what he wanted to buy. But this is the first time the guy seemed to be legitimately interested in something, so he's going to be still at the stall and look at Disciple's retreating back.]
Sure you don't want it?

...Why do people keep looking at them like that...
Anyway, he'll just ponder a moment longer before managing to pull out a few coins from his bag to make a quick purchase, stuffing the box into it. He'll then catch up to Disciple, hopefully before he noticed he had lagged behind.]
Where are you going to put it?
no subject
The sitting room, I suppose. That's where most people put their trees, right?

[Disciple kind of looks Japanese himself, but Shizuo isn't one to make assumptions because of the whole different worlds thing.]

[...UH.....]
Well... The country is a big chain of large islands, and where I live, Ikebukuro, is part of the Tokyo, the capital and one of the largest cities. Dunno if it's bigger, but it's a lot busier than this place. We have a lot of shrines and traditions... ...I dunno, what exactly do you wanna know?
[He tried.]
no subject
Forget it. [He honestly wouldn't know what to ask for specifically, and based on past conversation, Shizuo's Japan seems more modern. They reach his home and it was thankfully still standing, if not with a few more holes. He moves the gingerbread door aside, making room for Shizuo to enter. His home was far too spacious for one person to live in, but it was brimming with books, paperwork, and other gizmos a doctor's home would have.]

Or maybe his inability to think of major cultural cues and not sound like some random tourist guidebook is that frustrating.
So he just shrugs and continues to follow Disciple until they reach his home, not finding it too weird that it's much too big for one person. His place is the same way.]
Which room should I put this?
[Technically he knows which, but not actually where.]

random crapdecorations Disciple hadneedlesslybought. He'll also set his bag down on a chair, making sure it's out of the way.]...Do you want to call some other people to help with this? Might help in bringing in more of a festive mood. [Instead of just themselves.]
no subject
I feel a headache coming just thinking about it. [Sounds exhausting too. He starts taking the decorations out of one of the bags.] I bought some things to decorate the home, I think that's what they're for.

A slightly irritated sigh as he tries to help since, well, that's what he's here for. But where does he even start?]
Just saying that the whole Christmas and holiday thing is about being with friends and family and spending time with them, having fun. Just getting a tree and decorating is almost half-assing it.

no subject
No, suppose not. So long as you actually are enjoying it.

But as for the tree... ...I don't actually know. [...Hmmm.] I'm sure there's some reason, but guess it's just for fun now.

No, put that snowflake ornament by the bird.
no subject
Which bird?
[There are like. Three.]
