Perhaps not, but there certainly is a lot going on as the magic continues spreading out. There's panic amongst the servants as they watch the castle change, and when the magic comes over them the halls echo with terrified screams. Their bodies shrink and change from flesh to wood or cloth or plastic as they transform into from humans into toys.
All this goes unnoticed by Crane, though, too lost in his own transformation. Unlike his servants, his form begins to stretch and grow, ripping apart his clothes and revealing feathers growing down his torso and forearms, and the rough skin of his bird legs replacing the skin of his human ones, with sharp claws breaking through the shoes on his feet. His face also starts to change, his mouth extending into a sharp, pointed beak.
But while he starts gaining feature of his normal form, they come without the usual slender grace of his crane body. Instead his body starts to bulge with muscles that seem to surge throughout his form, leaving him a towering, imposing figure that was stuck between a bird and human.
CW: Maybe mild body horror? I dunno
