There is certainly sun-damage to the toy, but nothing that couldn't be taken care of. Looking over the toy again, he carefully places it down on the table.

"I know what you mean," he replies. "It doesn't help that there the toys seem to be alive in this story, so seeing them damaged like this is pretty bad. It might be part of the curse of the stories, or they were damaged in battle. But however it happened, the important thing now is to try and repair them."
