Entry 005
Characters: Kazuma Asougi [Jekyll/Hyde], Steelbeak [Don Quixote], Eizen (Davy Jones), and anyone else!
Campaign: Break
Format: w/e you guys want
Open
Summary: The Hydeout is open for business, mostly.
[A. First two weeks after the Story Eater Attack]
It's been a few days since the Story Eater's attack and Kazuma had been absent until he sends out a message to Steelbeak and Eizen. He made a physical appearance back at the Hydeout, which has suffered a bit of damage from the attack. The place had been flooded, furniture and utilities destroyed or washed away. The Underground was definitely out of commission. If one were to try and go down there, there would still be standing water that would take a few days to clear out.
For the next week or so, anyone passing by will see the place getting renovated, objects being tossed out and more standing water being swept or pumped out of the place. No customer is getting served anytime soon, but anyone is free to stop by and see what's up or help out. The place seems to be in need of a cook and new waiters/waitress at least, with some now hiring signs hanging outside.
[B. Open for Business]
Another week will go by when the Hydeout is able to open it's doors to customers again. All the furniture had been replaced, even the floor had a new wooden finish. There was less grittiness to the place now as well, the walls clean of the muck and cracks caused from weapons or fights. It gave itself a more sophisticated pub, though that didn't stop some of the fishier folks from coming in.
With the Underground still out of service, there's been uptick of pub fights breaking out. Even the stage area have turned into a fighting ring to quell some of the rowdier folks, but sometimes it just bleeds out into the crowd. If that doesn't bother you, at least the food has improved and the booze will never run out. Your mileage may vary with what drink you'll get though. If you're underage though...well no one said you couldn't come in, but this may not be the best place for a kid to be in. You may be asked to leave before anything bad happens.
