Back in the present day, Dr. Frankenstein and Dr. Jekyll are working together on a new major experiment: to create human life. However, while they are sharing research, they are still competing and working separately. In his own lab, Dr. Frankenstein is meeting with his dear friend Henry Clerval who's decided to check up on the good doctor. Knowing company was coming, Victor has put away any incriminating evidence, but the giant mutant plant is just too big and inconvenient to hide away. Clerval will no doubt have questions about it and Victor may be glad to talk about it instead of about what else he's been working on. But the plant is also apparently glad to talk and will constantly butt into the conversation with various comments. Asking to be fed isn't so much of a problem, but asking if Victor's done with those shovels or bringing up that some of his test subjects really reek might need to be explained away before Clerval starts asking what else is going on.
