Smell like I sound, I'm lost in a crowd
Characters: Magica De Spell (Circe), Scrooge McDuck (Odin)
Campaign: Post-Wonderland
Format: Matching
Closed
Summary: Scrooge gains more familiars... with some not-great timing.
It really annoyed Magica to no end how much Scrooge was improving with his magic. It wasn't fair. She grumbled and groused, but ultimately couldn't lie to him about his progression. Magic was serious business to her, even if they were mortal enemies - albeit not the exact one she was used to.
Not!Ratface was at the window, pausing as he heard an unusual sound from outside. Magica had yet to notice, taking a seat. "That's enough for today. Anymore and your old-man bones will break."

Peace and Quiet finally settled, sitting down as Scrooge stood up.
He brushed himself off.

Scrooge walked over to the table to retrieve his basket. He hesitated before he grasped the handle, almost missing it with his initial grab due to his lack of proper depth perception. (Was it sad that he was starting to get used to only using one eye?)

"I'll see you soon then. DOn't get used to the free bread."
That was a lie, but he had a valid reason for feeding her: He needed someone to teach him.

He opened the door, letting the two wolves exit first.

When Magica wasn't looking, Ratface rolled his eyes. Every single lesson ended the same way - and when they'd meet up again, it'd be like the arguments never happened.

Peace and Quiet looked at one another before glancing at Memory who just shook her head in disgust.

Ratface shrugged helplessly, as if to say, 'get used to this nonsense'.
