Far from Home

Characters: Evora [Swan Princess]
Campaign: Break
Format: Prose. Will match but much prefer prose.
Open or Closed Open
Summary: Another new arrival, getting used to her surroundings....and her new appendages.

I. House Hunting

Somewhere in the index, there is a lake. On this lake, just jutting out to bend the waters, is a little cape. On this cape is some grass, and trees. Just passed the grass, is a set of stone steps, that one might walk on. These lead to a door, that belongs to a quaint, narrow cottage, that just peeks out from behind the trees.

The figure, which is not excessively tall, but not at all short, stands on the opposite bank from the little cape. They're cloaked, from head to toe, which may be odd in this warm sunny weather, and it seems to sit rather bulkily upon the form. A hand lifts, from the heavy draping, which seems to be feminine, if one is close enough to see. It holds a key, which the fingers slide over thoughtfully, as they stand there looking at the cottage, across the small divide of the water.

"A bridge would not have been amiss, here," says the figure, to no one in particular. The voice is rich and deep, but clearly female, with a heavy accented, and certainly loud enough to be heard, if you're close enough.

II. The Grand Library

"Madiccho!"

The exclamation follows the loud thud, that is a large, heavy appendage whacking into one of the stacks. It causes the shelf to pitch fractionally, sending books falling in a tumble to the floor. The woman comes around to the other side. On her back is a set of large, white wings, big enough that they might be functional. They are raised a bit away from her body, her grey cloak squashed into the space between them.

Her green eyes sweep over the mess, and then the person standing there. The look is assessing, but those eyes do hold a bit of concern.

"Are you hurt?"
