Not a majority of the time, no. I can walk around on land just fine. But I have to remember to take periodic swims here and there. I found out that if I go longer than three days without spending time in the water, my legs begin hurting too much to walk and I can't talk anymore. It's really painful, and after I got back into the water the first time I had to wait for the pain to go away before I could go back on land.
It's took some time to get used to. Where I'm from, there aren't many places to swim, unless you make a trip out to the beach.
Things haven't changed much beyond that, though. I have a regular house, next to a big lake. There's a hatch in my basement that I can use to swim out into the lake from.
