One person I spoke to said this could be a prime opportunity for the Story Eater to attack us while we are all locked in one place. I don't know if it's true, but it would make logical sense to strike your enemies when they're all gathered together, rather than spread out over the Index. Perhaps that is why this story is acting more volatile than usual.
