Minato had gotten worried when he hadn't heard from Junpei. They were supposed to go to get some turkey again. It sort of became a thing, even if they didn't have to settle on just that one item. Then again, they were friends with Akihiko who really loved beef bowls.

In any case, the wildcard decided to visit and see what was up. Maybe the poor guy got sick? Maybe that's why he didn't come to the door after knocking. Minato tried the door and was surprised to find it unlocked. That's how burglaries happen, Junpei! He really hoped no one robbed the place...

He stepped inside. It was almost too quiet? That was kind of creepy. His ears twitched on his head, aiming to pick up any sounds as he shut the door quietly behind him. "Junpei?"

What the...? Minato would have been nonplussed at his best friend sleeping at a time like this... had he not found him asleep on the ground with a decaying peach on the floor. He was quick to kneel down and shake Junpei. "Wake up. Junpei?"
