Anger was easy to cover over the motives and plans they may have, especially when it might relate to each other. It was so easy to just be angry and have that wall keeping them from digging into one another's motives. Just as easy to insult the other, stir up displeasure and more anger given their long history, the end of it being particularly turbulent.
