That chill brought a snarl out of him, but there was a twist of something on his in, protesting the drain and even willing to claw in and drag right back in turn. Something just as cold but sharp in a fight that he didn't notice while the far more physical one was going on.
He kept pushing forwards, even when he felt a hand go around his throat, driving hard as claws of his free hand went for somewhere soft. All the better to get a grip to drive the both of them off their feet, aiming to take the both of them down to the ground rather than allow himself to be lifted.
