[Apparently, something (a bird from the feathers) got into her shop while she was away. Sure, her most valuable products weren't damaged, but she found a few bottles and books missing. What the perpetrator wanted, she wasn't sure - without her using those supplies, they were going to be useless.]
[So, with the door to her apothecary open, she was working on sweeping the feathers out. She paused when a cat and a few kids walked by, but kept at it otherwise.]
