twilightskey: (Is any of this for real? Or not?)

Roxas listened carefully as Dojima explained how this story had changed so much in his own world, and couldn't help the small bit of awe that bloomed in his chest. He wasn't well-versed in the ways of story writing, even on mundane levels, so Dojima being so casual about stories changing and having the core essence of the story be the same was a little surprising.

"And it was still okay, even if it changed that much..?"

He knew that each of these stories were mini-worlds unto themselves, so he had been approaching them as such; and with that, the long-seated notion of World Order and keeping balance when visiting new worlds that even the Organization enforced rang true in his head. He knew that their efforts sometimes changed details about the story they were repairing, but hadn't paid it that much thought. After all, none of their Essence powers had been affected, since none of them were from those stories, so it wasn't clear how their efforts truly affected the stories they assisted.

But if this story becomes different from their efforts, then maybe Dojima was right. Maybe it meant that it didn't mean he would be affected. And maybe... if he did end up changing the outcome, it wouldn't be so bad. Maybe it wouldn't hurt him or his Essence.

He looked down a bit, his gaze settling on his tail. He fell silent for a moment, his thoughts mulling over in his head, but then began to speak.

"...I'd like for her to have a happy ending, if she can. She seemed so full of sadness when she had to disappear..." He looked back up at Dojima, a resolve setting in his expression.

"I'd like to give her a chance at happiness."
