He couldn't help the faint sense of familiarity at sitting next to someone older than him as he looked out onto the scenery before them; it was no clock tower and no sunset, but even this damaged story offered some form of tranquility.
It's subtle, but Dojima's question made Roxas tense a bit, his breath catching in his throat before he let it out in a slow, careful breath. Slowly, he nodded, keeping his gaze on the murky water rather than look at Dojima.
"This is her story after all. And I'm the one who's using her power. I know what happens at the end, and I know we have to put the story together to save it." His frown deepened, and he lowered his gaze as he rested a hand over his chest.
"But if we fix this story, how is that going to affect me? And if I have to be the one to fill her role... will I have to disappear again?"
